Cal State Bakersfield was a good team and we played very well. If we can beat them, the MEAC is within reach.

If you think this is bad, wait until we play them in football next year.  :tiptoe:

And you feel that you are able to make such comments because  of last season's success? I will give you guys credit but we have a good chance to make a run.

As if it wasn't hard enough on our kids already. At this rate, if our HBCU's don't all close down, we will be 50% diversed. By 2020, the standards will be just high enough to keep blacks from attending black colleges.  ::)

And we are not ranked for what?

On any given day! We would beat any of them.

We would all like to have the success and record that WSU has had over the recent past. I am starting to hear the same comments about the Rams like i did when Blount was there. 9-2 in Aggie land, we are in the playoffs. Looking at the staff at WSU, they have some powerful recruiters on staff starting with Greg Richardson.  I have known him for a long time and he has been the top recruiter on every staff he has been a part of. Bill's nephew was a top recruiter when he was with us and trained by his uncle himself.

Kids will be kids. Did we expect the Ducks to be quiet after a big win. I think some of this negativity comes from FSU fans being upset about the loss. There isn't a need to bring up the FSU QB'S past. He did his best and has one blemish on his starting career.

I just read that myself. I didnt exspect the OC to be there long anyway. This could hurt to have a third OC in three seasons.

I think the loss of the CO-Defensive will have a bigger impact than the loss of Maynor with regards to recruits .  I ranked Hart slightly over Mayor when it came to getting transfers he was responsible for many of the FBS talent that had a Winston-Salem/ NC roots. Our current Staff is great as far as X and O's but when it comes to relating to our players and getting the most out of them  l'm a little concerned going forward. This staff has roots in PWC football  time will tell if they will be able to keep the inner city pipeline going and  maneuver in the chitlin circuit with limited resources. Maynor and Hart both had the ability to relate and get the maximum out of our talent, our offense had the most talent we have ever had but the decision not to play one Qb or Rb couple that with vanilla play calling i'm not excited about the future with the OC.  You could see there was a disconnect this year somewhere and I hope it gets better but if the players don't trust the coaches the issues could return.

I know Bill Hayes very well along with inside sources. The coach that was fired wasn't the guy you are wanting us to think he was. He has been released at every coaching staff that he has worked for. We are just fine without him. NCCU didn't fall and I don't think WSU will either. Looking at the WSU roster, I don't see a lot of Winston-Salem talent on the past few teams.  :tiptoe:

With a winning season and post season play, they will stay in house with the next hire. It's traditional for HBCU's to drag out its selections to save as much money as possible. It's very important to hire now to get recruits for next season.

And the rich get richer. How will this effect HBCU salaries in the future?
