Politics / Nevada GOP attorney general nominee advocating a Lynching

Nevada GOP attorney general nominee said Democrat 'should be hanging from a f*cking crane

Sigal Chattah later claimed that her comment about Nevada Democratic Attorney General Aaron Ford, who is Black, was 'tongue-in-cheek.'

Republican voters in Nevada on Tuesday picked a nominee for attorney general who once called for the lynching of the state's current attorney general, who is Black.

With 81% of the vote counted, attorney Sigal Chattah defeated fellow attorney Tisha Black in the Republican primary by a wide 51%-39.9% margin, according to the New York Times.

Chattah will face current Democratic Attorney General Aaron Ford in the general election in November.

According to texts released by Sarah Ashton-Cirillo, a former friend, in January, in April 2021 Chattah had written to her about Ford, "This guy should be hanging from a ph--king crane."

Okay.  But what do you know about hanging people from a crane?

She said later that the comment was "tongue-in-cheek" and had no racial overtones. Chattah, who immigrated to the United States from Israel at the age of 14, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal in February, "When I say to my friends, 'I'm going to hang you from a crane,' I don't literally mean I'm going to hang you from a crane. ... I would never attribute a racial context to hanging from a crane. ... That is my culture. That's what is done to people in the Middle East, to traitors. And that's just part of my vernacular."
At the age of 14, you picked up "...hanging from a f*cking crane" in your vocabulary?

Well, learn something from my vocabulary:
Nevada cranes wear strange fruit...

I am wondering if there is going to be a move on the 14th amendment itself. A lot of the logic against the various cases that depend on it came from the same crowd that claims the 14th amendment is not valid in the first place. Given how we are seeing more and more 'quiet part out loud', I would not be surprised if we see an explicit attack on the amendment in the near future.

Ginni Thomas says she 'can't wait' to talk to Jan. 6 committee

WASHINGTON, June 16 (Reuters) - Virginia "Ginni" Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, is eager to appear before the congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, she told the Daily Caller news website on Thursday.

Thomas was responding to comments by the committee's chairman, Democrat Bennie Thompson, that suggested the panel would seek her testimony.

"I can't wait to clear up misconceptions. I look forward to talking to them," Thomas told the Daily Caller.

I wonder when she gives her deposition and testimony to the committee, will judge Thomas be sitting in the same chair she sat in during his confirmation hearings??

People died.  Family lives upset. Jail time for participants in this uprising. A whole country watching a coup live—over the drunken advice from the presidents lawyer. That’s inexcusable. Also, when you get to the month of December 2020 and right after New Year’s in 2021, The president acting on that drunken advice is pure criminal.

You're a uneducated moron. You are a waste of breath and a idiot who supports white trash. You should have been a still birth.

Trump was a horrible actor just like Ronald Reagan. Two of the worst presidents in modern history

K----, compared to what serves as POTUS today, Trump was outstanding. So was Reagan. K----, Obama didn't do s**t and this guy is a complete f'up and you know it. What did you think of Carter - YOU GD IDIOT. Reagan had to clean up the mess created by Carter and the Dem-O-Rats.

Kevin I should close and lock all of his doors except one, and have a good guy with a gun guarding it. He will be safe.

Where was this man’s voice when the former guy was talking about raking the forest, and that the continental army was guarding the airports?

Cavanaugh would have nothing to fear if the man was carrying a trump flag

We should NEVER FORGET whose name was on the flags as they stormed the Capitol on January 6

Obituary for Vicky White

There would be NO WAY I'd want my name in that obit.  A public funeral???  I wonder if the sheriff will be there...

BREAKING NEWS: CNN drops bombshell, leaks 2,319 text messages sent to and from ex-Trump Chief of Staff Mark Meadows that incriminate Ivanka Trump, Trump Jr., Jared Kushner,  Sean Hannity, Jim Jordan, and Marjorie Taylor Greene in the plot to steal Biden’s win.
