They risked their lives for our right to vote.  A vote is a vate regradless by mail or maybe in the future an app.

:( Sad but true :( I don;t know why people are saying JB needs a woman as VP which might hurt his chances. I am not against women, but I was  :o after the 2016 elections when Trump won.  If all the ladies in the USA would vote for a woman then we would have a woman as POTUS.  One of the knock I heard from some women was Hillary can fight a man.  I have yet to see any President fight in a battle.  Some act as if Hillary and Putin were going to fight it out  in a box ring are something.

Where is your president, Donald John Trump, instituting martial law?

Trump to send federal officers to US cities to tamp down unrest
US President says 'Operation Legend' will send hundreds of troops into Chicago, and other cities will follow.
President Donald Trump and Attorney General William Barr announced Wednesday that federal agents will surge into Chicago and Albuquerque to help combat rising crime, expanding the administration's intervention in local law enforcement as Trump runs for re-election in the United States

Maybe it was the in thing or fad to say a woman had her a "rough-neck". Someone on this forum has said "that broad was funking with a street thug". Black women probably would not have to bother with a street thug if those non-street thug black men did not strut around like roosters with the "white arm candy". You dishonor the memory of your mother, your grandmother, your aunt who changed your dirty diapers and wiped your snotty nose. Some of you non-street thug black men want to get like some celebrities, got to have me a white woman. Why you got to have her? Because she'll put up with your mess that black women won't put up with. Then when black women be strolling and rolling with the white man, yawl non-street thug black men get a case of tight jaws fast. What she see in him? When white man steps away, non-street thug black men saunters over with his rap, " hey baby don't you want to get together with a real man"? Those whose this applies to know that they do it. Keep on keeping on by 2050, the black race in this country will be extinct.
People have to be aware of who they re dealing with.  People need to understand that most guys who act tough are actually cowards and tend to act anyone to prove that they are tough.  If she wants a tough guy, get a gangsster because they take of their woman and family  and know how to conduct business.  Jay-Z is gangster.

They might do what they did in the Macon Area:
Baldwin County Kingpin Sentenced To 145 Years In Federal Prison Without Parole, Fourteen Others Sentenced
As part of the investigation, agents from the DEA, FBI, ATF and Ocmulgee Drug Task Force were responsible for removing more than 10 ounces of crack cocaine, more than 10 ounces of methamphetamine, and more than 10 ounces of heroin from the streets of Milledgeville.  In addition, 17 firearms, including two assault rifles, were purchased from Mr. Goddard and/or seized during a search warrant executed at his residence.

I can solve a lot of the issue by legalizing some drugs because the root of all evil is money.  We can tax the drugs to provide public work jobs and increase benefits to those unable to work.

Right or wrong, he has every right to express him (freedom of speech).  I think this country has lost its dayum mind with pass judgment on people. This why the bible states that do not judge because no one can hold up to the standard we set.  Also, he stated that the company will donate 1 million food banks, so do not throw the baby out with the bathwater.   People need to realize that we can vote Trump out and at worst, he will be around 4.5 more years.

Brazil's Jair Bolsonaro tests positive for Covid-19 after months of dismissing the seriousness of the virus
He also acknowledged the life-threatening risk posed by a virus that he has in the past dismissed as a "little flu." "We know the fatality of the virus for those of a certain age, like me, above 65, as well as for those with comorbidities, diseases, other issues. In those cases the virus could be decisive and lead to death -- everyone knew that."

Bolsonaro had reassured supporters on Monday outside the presidential palace in Brasília that he had taken a test and his lungs were "clean," following media reports that he had a fever. Wearing a mask, he warned people to not get near him. "You can't get very close [to me], OK? Recommendation for everyone," he said.

The Trump of England got it and now the Trump of Brazil got it. When will the real Trump get it.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell acknowledged Thursday that he was "wrong" to claim former President Barack Obama didn't leave behind a plan for tackling a pandemic. The Obama administration had in fact prepared a 69-page playbook for pandemic response — which the Trump administration appeared to not follow.

"I was wrong," McConnell said in an interview with Fox News' Bret Baier. "They did leave behind a plan. So, I clearly made a mistake in that regard."

OS, you need to give all your degrees back but you have not learned to think logically. You only hear the side of any argument that supports your belief without thinking about the counterpoints.

Trump’s Budget Cuts to the Social Safety Net Are Greater Than Reagan’s
A new analysis by the liberal-leaning Center on Budget and Policy Priorities has charged the Trump administration with plumbing historic depths by proposing to slash health care for low and moderate income people and cut all programs in the social safety net.

While seeking major increases in spending on defense, veterans’ affairs, homeland security, construction of a wall along the southern border with Mexico along with a major tax cut, Trump’s budget would cut $4.3 trillion of domestic discretionary and mandatory spending through 2027 in a bid to wipe out the deficit.

Of those total cuts, 59 percent or $2.5 trillion would be made in programs to assist low and moderate income people, even while those programs account for just 29 percent of non-defense domestic spending.

Regan pushed through a reduction in the national Social Services grant appropriation. As a result, Richmond cut the number of elderly and disabled people receiving help at home with cooking, cleaning and other chores from 350 people to 65.

One elderly woman who lost aid, said Lory Osorio, director of an "adult day care" center, became so distressed after being forced out of her home and sent to a nursing home that she refused to eat and died within a year.

The OP may want to go back and look at stats from the war on poverty. It was working pretty well until Reagan dealt it its final blows.
The great society has been under attack since the 1980s,  I guess he forgot who started the attack:
'Social Safety Net' Less Safe As Cuts Debated
"The poverty-stricken, the disabled, the elderly, all those with true need — can rest assured that the social safety net of programs they depend on are exempt from any cuts," he said.

It turned out that wasn't completely true — the Reagan budget cut food stamps, welfare and Medicaid.

Meanwhile, Trump blows his top.
