I haven't seen "The Last Dance" yet. I did watch "UNBANNED: THE LEGEND OF AJ1' a documentary about the Air Jordan sneakers on Netflix. VERY INTERESTING!!!!!!!!

Well hang 75 on us then. That’s what I want to see. Take some knees on us. Please do that.

We will beat you guys by at least 25. The only reason why it won’t be as ugly as it could is because your coach played for our coach in college.

Are you saying that your coach is an Eagle?  Figures...

Sam Washington coached at NCCU. Just yet another example of something good coming to Greensboro that was in Durham FIRST.

Man guys are a last second FG away from being 1-2. Go try to impress someone else that doesn't know any better. We'll be back and you know it.

Gotta give props to a&t for knowing how to schedule the lighter weight FBS and FCS squads. I was surprised to hear they had actually scheduled North Dakota State for 2020.

Real talk...dude could have gotten himself hurt as well as others. Let's say a Cookman player would have given him the business...then a JSU player retaliates...then a bench cleating brawl results.

You guys are killing me. Many excuses every time one of these lower level FCS schools beat the snot out of ya'll. Maybe, just maybe you don't belong on their level.

I'll be in Valdosta next Thursday and Friday attending a graduation. Any good eating spots?

And the Aggie athletic domination over NCCU this school year continues ....

Don't act like we just didn't beat you mutts in Baseball. :nono2:

North Carolina Central
-  Baseball (1 Game)

North Carolina A & T
-  Baseball (2 Games)
-  Women's Basketball (3 Games)
-  Men's Basketball (2 Games)
-  Women's Indoor Track
-  Men's Indoor Track
-  Football
-  Volleyball (2 Games)
-  Women's Cross Country
-  Men's Cross Country

I think that's domination.

Y'all have given us the business this year. But, it's all cyclical.

Sports Forum / Re: CIAA is off to B-more!

I have changed my stance on this issue. Let me preface by saying, I think it is actually a good thing that the CIAA is leaving. They need a brand re-boot. HOWEVER, the reason they are leaving is waaaaaay beyond the difference in the bids. I thought it was all about the CIAA wanting to leave. Charlotte has a black mayor, a majority democratic city council, black police chief, black sheriff and black chair of the board of county commissioners.....and we lose the CIAA Tournament????? Not a NASCAR date, but the CIAA Tournament.

Ok, yeah Baltimore put up $2 million for scholarships (which is still paltry I might add) vs. Charlotte's $1.2 million. Those that have profited well from the tournament in a “public-private venture” should have been negotiated with if but for only 1% of their earnings (not a huge ask). Even if Charlotte came up with $5 million...that's STILL one helluva return compared to FIFTY-MILLION! But no, it wasn't done. Less than favorable treatment by hotels and restaurants was allowed. And that $1.2 million...that was to be $1.7 million...was supposed to be the best Charlotte could do? No sir I'm not buying it.

The chair of the CIAA Board said it best..."we felt like Baltimore WANTED US in their future."

Unbelievable...I started posting on here in 1999 and we are still talking about who's "real" D1.

Baltimore committed about $2 million scholarship dollars to the bid vs. Charlotte's current $1.2 million although $1.7 million was the goal. Additionally, if you recall, in 2016 the CIAA moved eight of its 10 conference championships out of North Carolina because of a state law ("the bathroom bill") that restricts the rights of LGBT people. So, bottomline, they were ready to leave.

I would love to see an alum in the position but I don’t think it will happen. A closing date of Nov 28 tells me that there is already a short list. So, December should be exciting.

Is it true that the game vs Morgan today WAS NOT counted as a conference game due to Hampton leaving the MEAC?

Didn't he get hurt?
