Slater could have had a good OC when Damien Craig was there as QB coach. Slater would not give up the OC position so Damien left and went to South Alabama.

I agree Q 82, but the OC is also the HEAD COACH!!!, but he still needs his a-- kicked.

I believe that they will put the CIAA and SIAC in the same region so that we can knock each off and limit the number of HBCUs getting into the playoffs.
I agree with coach Ruffin on HBCUs getting a bad seed in the playoffs. Choosing not to play is not the answer. We must take the bad seed and drive on with it until we get to the finals one of these days.
Will see you at Skegee's homecoming.
Perception!! Officials cheated, simply perception. Losing teams most of the time can claim that the officials cheated. That is why it is best to not let the game be close enough for the officiating to make the difference in winning and losing.
I felt that this was probably the worst game that Skegee played all year. They won because the Albany State defense could not stop them at the most critical time.
But for the turnovers, Albany State would have been limited to 14 points or less. On to the Playoff for both teams, hopefully.

Steep hills have been climbed before and will be again. Time will tell.
Most HBCU coaches and AD's don't check on the officials that are scheduled to officiate their games. There have been several instances in HBCU games where officials calling certain games were graduates of one of the schools that was playing at the time.
It has always been difficult to win in Atlanta if one of the Atlanta schools was playing. The best approach to negating poor, bad, incompetent officiating is to not let the game be close enough for the officials to be able to make the difference in the outcome.
Whenever you get a team down, stick it to them so that they can't come back on you.

That's the way to get him straight Utopia. Hopefully we will see WSSU again in the D II playoffs.
The Tuskegee crowd was almost twice as large as the ASU crowd. I have to agree with Utopia. As for the game itself, Skegee left at least 20 points on the field. The two overthrows of wide open receivers, and the underthrow on the halfback option were TD's if they had been executed properly. I was surprised at the ASU QB performance since he has been selected as the preseason Offensive player of the year.
ASU has a good team as does Skegee. I don't believe that Skegee will lose another conference game. If we get by WSSU this coming Saturday, I believe we will go 9 and 1 regular season. Anything M Ford has to say notwithstanding.
There's an old saying that "If you keep doing what you have always done; you will keep getting what you have always gotten". i,e. Bad attendance numbers. IMHO,only bodies inside the stadium ought to be included in the attendance numbers.

Hopefully this will get more black males interested in baseball. Baseball has become a dead sport with black males as well as the black community in general, in my opinion.
