This was the biggest win for HBCUs this weekend! Great job A&M.
FSU will beat the brakes off WSSU and will win the CI FOOTBALL SHIP
Have ya'll reinstalled the brakes we beat off FSU last year? Just wondering.
FSU has played Bowie and Union often and in the same years. If WSSU wants it they gotta earn it!
We will beat ya'll for the Southern Division championship. Right now, VUU is my pick to win it all, but I will see how they do against LR this week to be sure.
FSU will win it all this year.
My pick is VUU. FSU won't beat WSSU.
65 scholarships vs 36 is the difference between D1AA and D2.
DI schools has to pay the full ride while DII can split a scholarship among several players based on need. DII schools has the players to apply for grants and other scholarship and they pay the difference. This allows multiple players to get scholarships with just one.
Also, the 10 semester rule, allow players an extended time to play. They can play at anytime in their lives as long as they are not in school longer than the 10 semesters. In DI, a players has only five years to play four. This time starts as soon as he leaves high school. At the end of that five years he can't play, regardless if he was in school or not during that time.
This helps prove the point I make every year about comparing the HBCU's divisions. There is not much difference between the best DII HBCU's and the middle to upper teams in the HBCU's FCS conferences. VUU is just as big and fast as any of our DI schools. Out coaching them would be our best chance to beat them... but they may be well coached as well.
VUU looks really good. They are huge and fast. Those are some grown azzzz men on that team. You can't tell me they are a CIAA team. Not sure I want to play them in a few weeks.
Blazers win 38-3.
They where playing "the Valdosta State", so whats to be said? Valdosta will beat a lot of HBCUs like that, so there should not be any shame there.

Jumping on high school teams, I see...this should be an EASY win.
Florida Tech is in the Gulf South Conference, one of the best DII conferences in America. They are rated on of the best teams in the country. You may have just given some locker room stuff.

Gotta give props to a&t for knowing how to schedule the lighter weight FBS and FCS squads. I was surprised to hear they had actually scheduled North Dakota State for 2020.
Are you saying that "Nationally Ranked Elon" is a light weight? Rally??
I always felt he was a better fit for the SWAC.
I agree. Maynor lives and dies with his skill players. It seems that the SWAC has better skill players overall than the MEAC. A&M need to be ready to accept that Maynor's taking chances will not always workout. This man never punts... never. And his special teams really suck. But overall, the SWAC better be worried.
Best hire of the Hicks era. A&M better support this man because if they do things will work out extremely wellSupport will not be an issue. If he keeps winning he will be the King of Normal!!!
This man is going to make A&M great if he want to be at A&M for the long term, and not look for a job every year like he did when he coached at WSSU. He takes no prisoners. Any you better be ready to play or he will blow you out. I'm guessing that A&M and A&T will be HBCU's top dogs in a few years.
Just wait till you see him during TV interviews. He's so funny.
