Let's go Wolves!!!

You should be supporting fellow HBCU and conference member Bowie State University.

Good luck Bulldogs!

No worries. Sell-outs are gonna sell-out. It's what they do.

Hopefully, a guilty verdict will come back.  We all know Oldsport will not accept anything less than a not guilty verdict on all counts.

Fayetteville State University to reduce tuition costs to only $500 a semester

Not good.

Facts...I would put the blame on your current Chancellor for this.  If I recall correctly, your previous Chancellor opted to not have Fayetteville State participate in that program.

WSSU is in the process of hiring a full time coach, and I can't imagine Massey getting the job.

I believe Blount's contract is up at JCSU, and I'd be shocked if it gets renewed.

It shouldn't be with a record of 16-42 since 2015.

How much has the enrollment gone down?  Yea, from what I hear, he is not getting the job done.

We fell below 8K during the pandemic, but haven't gained back those students. A major hindrance to growth is lack of available housing.  That's why three new residence halls were constructed in less than two years.
I’m not sure if we can attribute enrollment being down NOW to lack of housing.  I was under the impression that applications at many HBCUs were up. Which should translate into increased enrollment. We should have the capacity to house the students on campus now and we shouldn’t have empty dorm rooms. Your thoughts.

Housing issues pre-dated the pandemic.   Everything else you say rings true.  Considering our spike in applications in 2017-2018 (the Celebration Bowl bump); we should have solidly been in the 8500-8700 range.
That was exactly what I was thinking. We changed the logo at the beginning of his tenure because he felt NCCU had a branding and image issue. We all know about the the challenges of the pandemic but every University had it’s unique set of challenges during that time.

The lack of corporate engagement during this unprecedented time of HBCU prosperity and lower enrollment causes me great concern.

We all want what’s best for our University. That’s all.

Maybe you guys can go back to your original logo after he's gone...

I wonder how many other coaches in the conference are going to get fired.  Time is ticking because signing day is not too far away.

I doubt seriously that Lenoir-Rhyne campaigned to be selected. Their strength of schedule including their loses was enough. Nor should there be any rule changes. Teams choose to play classics, they choose their non conference opponents. This was the first year that the Morehouse schedule, including new member Edward Waters was not entirely schools from the SIAC. We opened the season with two ranked DII teams, West Alabama and West Georgia. I hope that we keep those two teams. They are nearby and it makes sense. With our old schedule, we could have possibly finished 6-4 instead of 4-6. We are only going to get better by playing better teams. Nor did we have a spring season. I am looking forward to next year already.

I AGREE WITH THIS ASSESSSMENT 100%.  YOU ONLY GET BETTER BY PLAYING BETTER COMPETITION.   THIS IS A LESSON THE REST OF THE CIAA IS GOING TO HAVE TO LEARN.   I KNEW THAT FSU's RECORD WAS MORE THAN SUSPECT.  THEIR OFFENSE WAS TOTALLY DOMINATED IN THE CIAA CHAMPIONSHIP GAME BY THE BOWIE DEFENSE.

WE PLAYED THREE NON-CIAA GAMES THIS YEAR.  WINNING 2 OF 3.   THE SOLE BSU LOSS WAS TO A D-1 TEAM AND THE TWO BSU NON-CONFERENCE WINS WERE AGAINST STRONG D2 TEAMS, ONE OF WHICH IS IN THE TOURNAMENT WITH BSU BEING THEIR SOLE LOSS.  COMPARE OUR SOS SCHEDULE AGAINST THAT OF FSU.
WAS ANYONE REALLY SURPRISED AT THE CIAA CHSAMPIONSHIP OUTCOME?

MY ONLY SURPRISE WAS AT HOW CLOSE THE FINAL SCORE WASFSU WAS DETERMINED NOT TO TAKE A THIRD CIAA CHAMPIONSHIP LOSS AND FOUGHT HARD, BUT TO NO AVAIL.

That was their fourth consecutive loss.  However, congratulations to the Bulldogs for keeping the championship in the Northern Division and congratulations to the Broncos for making the championship game four years in a row.

The Livingstone player who took off his helmet and hit the JCSU player who was walking away should be kicked off the team.

In three seasons, he had an overall record of 6-23.  ECSU made the right decision in firing him.
Not.  Do you know how many scholarships he had or what resources they gave him.  Basketball has more scholarships than football.

No, I don't know how many scholarships he had or the resources he was given.  Do you know how many scholarships he was given and the resources he was given?  If so, please enlighten all of us.

Again, with a 6-23 record over three years, he needed to be fired.  That is an average of two wins per year.  Do you really think he should remain head coach?
I just told you basketball had more scholarships than football.

Where are the facts to back up your statement?
Oh you one of those.

What are "one of those"?
A y.

Just because I asked you to prove your argument, you're putting me in the same boat at Y.  That's just wrong.  I just wanted to see the facts.
