IMO, the worst part of most HBCUs field shows are the dance routines. Most bands sound like crap when trying to dance and play at the same time, which is why they are marching bands instead of dancing bands. Putting horns down while the other half of the band dances is not a bad idea, as long as the half that is still playing can provide a strong and full sound. Southern University has always been known for its formation drills, which is why a lot of HBCUs have adopted that style. Fast cadence from formation to formation is the easy way to rearrange a band on a field without actually doing a formation drill while playing music. The only time one will see Southern's band fast cadence into a formation is when the band has completed its formation drills and is getting into what is known as block band formation in order to do some dance routine.

It's the greed of Corporate America at the expense and safety of consumers. As long as the Republicans are allowed to deregulate and downsize government, it would continue to get worse. We are now at the point that those who are left in the government are too incompetent to make a difference. I somewhat blame the professional organizations (i.e. professional engineering societies) who should have lobbied against the greed of Corporate America. It has gotten so bad that government jobs (Public Works Director and Director of Transportation) that used to be strictly for engineers have been downgraded to a point that any person with a MBA can fill those positions. Basically, non-engineers can be in-charge of municipal infrastructures that were/are designed by engineers.

And this is coming from someone who attended a school where the band damn near run (fast cadence off the drums) to every formation they make. Basically, zero formation drills or marching and playing while transitioning from one formation to another.

It sounds like he promised to turn over sensitive information to Putin.
So the Steelers and Saints are screwed this year. Well ya'll may be a little worst than us because I believe Rudolph is a better backup .Yeah I'm hearing that from a lot of folks. It's as if Teddy wasn't rookie of the year that threw for right at 3,000 yards and one game from a Super bowl before the injury
Dude has zero clue on the speed of the NFL. His timing is completely off at this level.
They say 6 weeks. Not looking good for home team. The Lambs have become the NFL special no-call case or stop play when things are not going their way. Basically, the NFL darling team. With a 5 billion dollar stadium complex being built, I guess the NFL is working hard to make Los Angeles a football town. Angeleans are primarily Laker fans. What the NFL is doing just might backfire. Unlike basketball, not too many Hollywood stars are going to sit field level in order to get some T.V. time. Most will be in some luxury private suite where most at the game won't see. Angeleans are not going to games unless they are within bird's eye view of big named Hollywood stars. They do the same with churches. The churches Denzel, Magic, and others attended were always crowded on Sunday.

I'm sure this won't be the first sports arena that have adult suites with commentary lap dances.

I wonder what type of videos and pictures would they display throughout the arena???

Ole Falwell doubles down. Now students are protesting, asking for more transparency and accountability of Falwell. I bet Jerry, Sr. is turning over in his grave.

I knew something wasn't right in his head when I saw him attend a city planning meeting wearing penny loafers with no socks on.
