Trump is a terrorist, and I mean an Osama Bin Laden like terrorist, and his supporters are his foot soldiers. There is now a terrorist wing of the GOP, which makes it by definition a terrorist organization, and I mean an Al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah like terrorist organization.

Now that we got that out of the way, Trump is also a fascist dictator, and multiple wings of the GOP has adopted fascism as its mantra.  You are not hearing these stark terms being used in the media, when the above is the reality.  Eventually, Trump is going to sick his foot soldiers on all Americans who oppose him.  Then what?

The Assault Weapons Ban during the Clinton years took the AK-47, and similar weapons off the shelves.  Which in theory should be a good thing, right? Here’s the problem:  Those were still being sold on the black market in inner cities across the country. These weapons were being sold to and used by criminals that were against other criminals and sometimes even the general public. How do I know this?  I was robbed shot three times with an AK-47.  Doctor told me I would never walk again.  Six months later, I waltzed into his  office to serve him his crow.
But what really bothered me after the incident was, I wasn’t able to buy one for myself.  I figured that in order to sufficiently protect myself, I needed to have what the criminals had. It floored me to think that I could be assaulted with a weapon I can’t legally buy.  Two years later, the weapons ban expired.   Funny thing, for whatever reason, I never went to the gun store to inquire about an AL-47.
Fast forward to 2020.  After January 6, I decided to buy an AR-15.  We were on the cusp of a civil war(in my view), and I wasn’t going to allow myself and family to be sitting ducks for the rabid, raging clear men.  And though things have somewhat simmered down, we’re still an incident away from a civil war(in my view).
Fast forward to the now, I still have it.  I don’t need it until I need it.  So it’s in a secure space.

Good.  Anyone who sends money to him deserves to be scammed. Dummies.

Yeah right.  A DA or prosecutor doesn’t owe Congress an explanation about its decisions to prosecute or not prosecute anyone.  Everything is politics with the GOP.  Smh
How can you demand any damn thing when you didnt obey the request of those before you?

Wrong.

If he doesn't show up he'll be in contempt of Congress.
He can respond with a simple: “My job is to prosecute crimes, a job I was elected to do.  With all due respect, who my office decides to prosecute is none of your business” to every single question they ask of him.  The DA owes Congress no other explanation. The DA ultimately answers to the state’s AG and the people who elected the DA, not Congress.

This may be the only state charge that will stick. Even if there is a trial and conviction in the Ga case, Trump will probably be pardoned immediately.

Pardoned by whom/authority?
The Governor, in Georgia’s case(state board of pardons and parole), can pardon anyone for state crimes.   Just like the president can pardon anyone of federal crimes.  I can assure you the State Board of Pardons and Paroles is stacked with republicans.
:nono2: NY isn't.
Go back to my original comment and you will see we are in agreement.

Just saw an article where Trump has predicted on Truth Social that he would be indicted this Tuesday.  This is not a prediction.  He’s been told what’s coming down the pike.  I don’t think we will see a perp walk.  He’ll be processed and released.

Nothing justifies what he did. It wasn't even remotely a situation where he missed a close strike. Both strike calls were horrible and intentional.
exactly!  That umpire was on some BS.

When I umpired arguing about balls and strikes could get you tossed.  I would have tossed him before I made an intentional bad call.  What he did wasn't enough to get tossed.

I played little league with a few kids who would have stomped a mud hole in that umpire.
In Savannah, an umpire was shot at a rec game last year for pulling the crap this umpire pulled.  People lose their minds behind a perceived act of cheating.  So imagine how they would react to blatant cheating? The only time I have ever been ejected from a game and tournament site is when my twelve year played in tournament where the team they were playing drove themselves to the game.  Obviously the team we were playing had illegal players, and I refused to put my team out there. But some of the parents were angry and there was an altercation between one of the parents and the tournament director.  I was obviously embarrassed by the entire episode, but it goes to show just how crazy parents and fans can get.  Fan is short for fanatic. What this umpire did could have resulted in chaos.

I do not have a problem with the team forfeiting the game.  The solution to this is to have separate leagues for transgender individuals. To compare the issue of transgenders playing sports to the civil rights movement is insulting and disgusting. Some of us will co-sign and fall for anything white liberals shove down our throats.
