With all those bad refs in M-M Gymnasium, just pay them double what you usually do to officiate the game more favorably.
If they beat you bad, weren't they supposed to do that anyway
Honestly, I don't think that would happen.  If Roy is up by 20 at halftime, I don't think he's going into the 2nd half saying, "Let's beat em by 40."  Furthermore, I don't even think UNC is 20-30 points better than Central on CENTRAL'S HOME COURT.
Roy will run up the score on you. I have seen it plenty of times. Hell, he put the walk-ons in the game and they still were scoring like they are losing or something. UNC would beat NCCU by 50 anytime and anywhere.

Last time we played they only won by 16.
That was during the scandal years. UNC had a hard time getting recruits during that period.

IDK, UNC was hot garbage last year
That was a "once in a lifetime" situation. Injuries ruin that team. UNC is recruiting like they used to recruit, so it will not happen again unless the whole team gets injured like this past season.

WHO FEELS THEIR CIAA SCHEDULE IS TOUGHER THAN BSU's?

Bowie State Football Releases 2020 Schedule
BOWIE, Md. – The Bowie State University Department of Athletics has released its 10-game football schedule for the 2020 season. Bowie State concluded last season with an overall record of 11-1, 7-0 in the CIAA and the Bulldogs repeated as conference champions.

"We're glad to have finalized our 2020 schedule and feel we've been able to schedule a very competitive non-conference schedule to go along with our conference schedule" said Head Coach Damon Wilson. "The non-conference portion of our schedule will afford us the opportunity to play three teams that represent three different D2 conferences and are excited about the opportunities to compete against some very good programs."

The Bulldogs will kick off its season on the road against the Chargers of New Haven University on Saturday, September 5th with game time set for 1 pm. Next on the schedule for Bowie State will be a first-time meeting against the Saginaw Valley State University Cardinals on Saturday, September 12th in Bulldogs Stadium with kickoff is slated for at 1:00 p.m.

BSU will make its longest trip of the regular season on Saturday, September 19th, traveling to Texas A&M University – Commerce to conclude the non-conference portion of their schedule. This will mark the first meeting between the Bulldogs and Lions and the contest will get underway at 6 p.m. (Central Time).

The Bulldogs will open conference play in week four and will face the Blue Bears of Livingstone College in Salisbury, N.C. on Saturday, September 26th with game time to be announced.

The first game in the month of October will feature Homecoming for Bowie State as the Bulldogs play host to Johnson C. Smith University. This cross-divisional matchup is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 3rd with kickoff set for 2 p.m.

Bowie State divisional play will begin on the road against the Hawks of Chowan University on Saturday, October 10th. Game time between to be determined. Bowie State returns home Saturday, October 17th to face the Trojans of Virginia State University in Bulldogs Stadium at 1 p.m.

The Bulldogs will load the iron horses in week eight and nine, making trips to Virginia Union University (Saturday, October 24th) and Lincoln University of Pennsylvania (Saturday, October 31st). Game time for both games are 1 p.m.

The regular season will conclude Saturday, November 7th as Bowie State hosts its final regular season contest against the Vikings of Elizabeth City State University at 1 p.m. This game has been designated as Senior Day.

@ New Haven U  :o
Saginaw Valley State U  :o
@ Texas A&M U Commerce  :o

Why would Bowie State schedule all these powerhouse teams in one season?
And does New Haven and TexA&M-Commerce return the games in the future?
None of the schools are powerhouses. Texas A&M University-Commerce has one NCAA title. Texas and New Haven are solid programs though. Saginaw has been struggling as of late. Anyway, everybody should play a tough non-conference schedule to prepare them for the playoffs and that's what BSU did!

He was not getting enough playing time at Howard?
WTF? He was the starting QB! He is not the only player that left Howard recently.

« on: May 15, 2020, 07:47:44 PM »
I see The G-Rams did very well after we discovered how to play football in 1984. The last 35 years almost 50% of the SIAC Championships. While going to the Championship game is good. I'd like to pad or victories with a few more Championships and a couple of National Championships to go with it... Please... :tiptoe:

They should've won the national championship in 2004. But...
I will never understand how they couldn't score any more in the second half. ASU was the only team that could beat Valdosta that year.

I just want the NCAA to keep that same energy it had when it gave UNC a light tap on the wrist for all their various misdoings.
UNC didn't have any fake cla** es for the men's basketball team. Regular students took the same cla**  as the b-ball team. So, the NCAA couldn't punish the Men's b-ball team.

Sports Forum / Re: What if Allen Iverson played at an HBCU
« on: March 29, 2020, 02:09:44 PM »
He played for John Thompson at Georgetown, so there was a chance.

HBCUs have to put their best foot forward. Put some money in locker room, lights in the gym, the court, strength and conditioning, and equipment.

If you can show that you are investing in them, you have a chance.
bs! Georgetown is still a major D1 school. That is the major difference from any HBCU. It doesn't matter if the coach or the whole team is black or not. The majority of the students still are white!

Interesting. But let some people tell it, D-Wade is a very bad person/father, who just want to stay in the limelight and get a reality show.  ::)
Nobody should know about his son wanting to be a damn transgender. His son is 12! He brought that bs on himself.

Sports Forum / Re: Like father like son: Shareef O'Neal heads to LSU
« on: February 16, 2020, 02:55:11 PM »
Heart surgery or not, I don't think he'll ever be like his dad.  I'm sure he's staying with Dale Brown, Shaq's old coach at LSU.  I never understood why he initially picked UCLA over LSU.  His dad is definitely a major contributor to Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF). Majority of LSU's multi-million dollar former athletes are Black, who are the main contributors to TAF.  Ironically, majority of their success has been at the entertainment pleasure and enjoyment of White folks who care less for Blacks.
Who cares if he will ever be like his dad? Nobody will ever be like Shaq. Shaq was a once in a lifetime player. His son still got a chance to be good. Most great NBA players' sons are nothing like them. Shareef could have gone to any school in America. He was a top 100 player in the nation.

Donor money will get you a seat on the team every time :thefan:
His son was a 4-star recruit in high school. His son really is good. He just came back from heart surgery in 2019.

How many points did he average at UCLA?

Quote
O'Neal played in 13 games for UCLA this season before announcing last month that he would be transferring out of the program. O'Neal, the No. 32 recruit in the ESPN 100 for the 2018 cla** , was averaging 2.2 points and 2.9 rebounds in 10.2 minutes
How many people you know that came back from heart surgery and start playing like they never left? You got to give him time. He got plenty of years to be good.

How do you know the woman is white? This got nothing to do with race. Btw, Athletes have sex with white women on campus all the time.

When they have been spoiled all of their lives because they can shoot a ball this is what happens.
Fights can happen at any time in the world! It got nothing to do with being spoiled!
