Eagles you have a month to prepare for JSU. That's a huge advantage.

Is that why the aggies won?  Truth be told, we really don't know who we are preparing for.  We can prepare for JSU, but anything can happen during the SWAC championship.  Not our fault that they still want to hang on to the championship game.  Also, don't let them fool you, they are currently preparing for us too.
People dont realize that the preparation and planning can only start after the SWAC CB participant is confirmed.  The MEAC is basically stuck fine tuning their weaknesses, fundamentals,  conditioning and healing.  The latter is the only real advantage.  Personally, I'd rather  be playing.

I doubt if Trei Oliver is sitting around waiting on the SCG to be played. After tomorrow I guarantee he'll start game planning. Probably both opponents at first.
It's a reason why the MEAC is 5-1 against the SWAC in the Celebration Bowl.

We still have a couple more games to win over the Fote to even the series.

Yea, I think the series is 34-31 with FVSU leading it now. I have to go dig up the information in my books. You're getting closer. We just have to win a few more to stretch it out.

that's all...
Fort Valley State is leading the series "45-39" against ASU all time. ...ASU is leading the series in the Fountain City Classic. ASU won 24 of the last 32 games against FVSU.

I know ASU didn't have their starting QB because he got hurt in the homecoming game, but I still expected ASU to beat Fort Valley. I was surprised to see Fort Valley have its way against the Dirty Blue defense. Not too many teams do that against the Dirty Blue Defense. Anyway, congrats to FVSU on the win!

Sports Forum / Re: 10/24/2022 Frist Regional Rankings for Division II

:o I guess Albany's OCC pushed them past BC, who beat them at home.   VUU is on the bubble and the CIAA could possibly be without a participant if someone beats them.  It is refreshing to see that the top two teams in the region are HBCUs.

NCAA Division II

New this year for #NCAAD2 sports with regional rankings, schools will be listed as under consideration in alphabetical order for the first ranking of the season.

Hey, I would love for our AD/HC to reach out to Herm on this. Not sure if he would seriously consider it or not. Definitely worth a shot.

I like Herm. He’s always been positive and uplifting in trying to mold/shape young males into real men. I will support anyone trying to do that.
He is not going to call him. He already got Aaron James replacing him.

I can tell you this. LSU will come into the game hopping mad and and they will unleash their plantation boys on Southern's ass. With Kelly being the world class ass hole that he is, he will definitely try and run up the score.

FAMU had athletes when Simmons got there.  I saw Morgan on tv 2 times last year and they had little then.  By the time the new Morgan coach was hired the already depleted “Transfer Portal” was near closing and recruiting was far past its prime.

2012-4 games won
2013-3 games won
2014-3 games won
2015-1 games won
2016-4 games won
2017-3 games won
Simmons Era
2018-6 games won
2019-9 games won
2021-9 games won

You said that FAMU had some athletes when Simmons got there.
Simmons won 6 games in his first year. That is average! Simmons did better in his 2nd year because his type of his recruits was on his team that year. Wilson may struggle in his first year because he hasn't had time to recruit. Give Wilson two more years, and we may see MSU be a contender in the MEAC.

Raymond Boone says he is staying at Bowie on social media.

Actually, Hampton finished slightly higher than them in the Big South Conference this past season.

Are you talking football...I'm pretty sure A&T finished ahead of Hampton in the Big South Conference this past season.

A&T had a horrible game against Hampton.

NC A&T  9
Hampton 30
They weren't the only ones you had horrible games against.

A&T needs to schedule some SWAC games to keep these random comments in check.

We could schedule some SWAC games, but it would weaken the SOS for sure...besides, we have much closer ties to MEAC. If we can keep the best of the MEAC on our schedule that would handle the SWAC because the MEAC champ would win the Celebration Bowl  ;D
Delusion is bliss I hear.

Now come on bluedog the record don't lie...A&T got 4 CB wins...SCSU got 1...GSU got 1...and in that game NCCU lost by one point. How many your team have?

Grambling only won because of Central's excessive celebration . . . in the Celebration Bowl.
I remember that game. I bet that WR will never forget that game.  :lmao:

America hates a good black man. It hurts their negative view. It's the same with Obama. He loves his wife and supports his kids. It goes against every negative image of the bad black male in society. Also both of them have wives who support them and don't bring drama. That's double trouble for miserable white folks as well as black for that matter.
That is not the only reason why people hate Lebron. A lot of people hate his fans. They try to discredit other legends to make Lebron seem better. They always act like Lebron carried every team he played on.
Private thoughts kept to self.
I didn't respond to you so get off my sack!
That's kinda gay, I think you're looking for the NDSU thread. My freedom of choice. Sorry....not sorry. Actually it's everyone freedom of choice,  I tend to stray away from  authoritarian/nazi like behavior.
Okay, old man! It's time for your bedtime.
