Barr is F.O.S. - I know BS when I hear it. BS is BS......whether you're a Democrat or a Republican, black or white, etc. I just heard 1 hr and 45 min of BS coming from the United States AG. How can this not bother folks, irrespective of which political side you take?
If a Democrat pees on my head.....I'm not going to call it rain because it's a Democrat going R Kelly on me.
Ditto for a Republican doing the same thing.
His overall presentation today is extremely disappointing and upsetting to me. Again, the dude is F.O.S......and it's so glaringly obvious

......Gonzaga has been in the West Coach Conference for the past 40 years. They haven't switched conferences.
Pay Moton more to keep him. There are exceptions to every rule. When a dude does well by you, you do well by him. $300K+ for Moton at Central. If that ain't enough for him, then he's free to leave. But don't let parsimony get in the way of losing the best coach and one of the best ambassadors Central has going for it.

Pay the man Central......don't let him leave your grasp......dude's done too much for you to lose him to Georgia State. Georgia Tech or Georgia - ok, I get it. Georgia State.....
To me, what's more baffling than that is the fact that Ron Hunter (a damn good coach) is leaving Georgia State for Tulane
. That's a lateral move at best. Unless Tulane is suddenly serious about upgrading its basketball program, I don't see where the move to Tulane makes any sense

I'm well aware of how much Coach K owned him. It's a running joke....
You don't think Izzo knew that as well??
Izzo coached his a-- off, partially because he didn't want to lose YET AGAIN to Coach K.
The way Izzo meticulously managed the last few minutes of each half of that game Sunday was special. Everytime they came out of a timeout, they ran something that worked to perfection. That was Izzo and his staff doing that.
I stand by everything I stated earlier.....Coach K was getting outcoached in every single game in the tournament.....but Zion and RJ's talent bailed him out.....until Sunday.

Elephant in the room.....
.....Coach K was blatantly outcoached. Izzo had set plays after every timeout, with most of them working. He had plans to get buckets in the crucial minutes of the game. The last part of the 1st half and the last minutes of the game.....Michigan St outscored Duke both of these times.....a lot of time AFTER IZZO CALLED TIMEOUTS TO SET UP PLAYS. He clearly got an A+ in "situational basketball." Coach K was asleep as the wheel.
Johnny Dawkins outcoached Coach K......UCF just lost
Buzz Williams outcoached Coach K......VT just lost
Coach K has been coasting lately on his reputation. I look at both of the teams he's had the past 2 years. They were clearly the most talented teams around, but in close games where it really mattered in the tournament, Coach K has been AWOL. He's gotten lazy. There are gonna be times where you have to coach your team through peril.....not just "talent your way" through peril. This failure is on Coach K - not Zion, RJ, Jones or anyone else on the team.

Prairie View should have gotten a 16-seed - not the play-in game. Iona should have been in the play-in game at 17-15. They actually entered the MAAC postseason tournament with a losing record. Their MAAC regular season record was 12-6. PVAMU finished 17-1 in the SWAC and actually had a W against Santa Clara, a team that finished .500 in a conference (WCC) that has 2 teams in the field (Gonzaga and St Mary's). I'm not saying they were royally hosed, but after seeing what happened to Virginia last year, just one slight change in where you are put can make a world of difference.

All of our
Somebody is gonna have to step up and match his sideline acumen in March. Otherwise, the Moton Invitational rolls on for another year

I talk smack a lot.....and I love doing it
But kudos goes to the best MEAC basketball coach in March since Don Corbett. The way Central came out of halftime to put their stamp on the game was Moton personified.
Norfolk's coach can't match wits with Moton. Norfolk choked.....but Central had their hands on their throats, too.
Congrats to the Eagles. Congrats to Moton. Represent the MEAC well, irrespective of where you land in the tournament. I'll be pulling for ya

He's got his number alright......
Everytime Joyner dials it, Moton picks it up.....petrified as hell
