I thought Republicans believed in free speech and that government shouldn’t dictate what private businesses do. I also thought they don’t believe in cancel culture.

Florida and Texas threaten Ben & Jerry's with anti-BDS laws over West Bank pullout

I think all three have vaccination rates  below 50%. Florida was predictable because their governor is special and people are spending a lot of time indoors with the windows closed because of the heat. I believe more than 500 people are dying every day in Florida.  Definitely preventable.

Florida, Missouri and Texas now account for 40% of new coronavirus cases in U.S.

I’m in Naples Italy for the next couple of weeks visiting my daughter, son in law and the grand babies. While I’m not a soccer fan, it is truly exciting being in a European country when they win a big soccer game. The Italians turned up last night. The internet was pretty much shutdown and it was a straight party. I knew soccer is big over here but damn. On another note, the English should be ashamed of how they are treating their black players.

Mother nature is giving one big ph--k you to selfish humans. With all the technology and knowledge, we not be happy until we leave our descendants with a waste land. It will be poor and black and brown people who suffer the most.

Conservatives are so dumb, Kendi is not a critical race theorist. I guess Republicans believe if you are anti-racist, you are a critical race theorist and that is bad.

The critical race theorist who coined the term “anti-racism” will speak at the national convention of one of the largest teachers unions in the country.

Ibram X. Kendi, a humanities professor at Boston University, will speak at the American Federation of Teachers’ "Together Educating America’s Children" conference Wednesday. Kendi is the author of the New York Times bestseller How to Be an Antiracist.

“Hear from Dr. Ibram X. Kendi in this free-ranging discussion with student activists and AFT members on his scholarship and on developing anti-racist mindsets and actions inside and outside classrooms,” the conference’s agenda

I definitely agree with this.

It will definitely do for now. I was just offered a position as associate professor at Shippensburg University. I’m really excited to have the opportunity to do some research, finish my book on inequitable school funding, and continue presenting at conferences. More importantly, I dill lose the stress of my previous job.  :brickwall: I have some tough conversations over the next several days.

Chris Wallace Accuses GOP Of Defunding Police In Testy Fox Interview

A GOP Senate candidate claims that the military has been 'colorblind' for 'almost 200 years,' but the armed services were desegregated in 1948

It’s funny how a lot of these Republicans who never served, nobody in their families has served, and they would never let their children serve always have something to say. Typical faux patriotic Republican.

Trump mocks army generals who care more about being 'woke' than 'fighting enemies'
