After Aggie Eagle I cursed up a firestorm and said I wasn't going BUT now that I've got over it and the fact that it's actually a pretty cool event (enjoyed myself last year) I'll be there.

Cohen over 200 and becomes Meac alltime leading rusher!

Who did he pass and what was the number of yardage?

I think Will Ford of SCSU somewhere around 4600 yards.

Will Ford 4672

An HBCU Student Forum hosted by The Undefeated with President Barack Obama at North Carolina A&T State University

ESPN’s The Undefeated will present A Conversation with The President: Sports, Race and Achievement – a student forum with President Barack Obama, on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 10 p.m. ET (ESPN and WatchESPN) from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, N.C.

The one-hour program will be taped earlier that day in front of a live audience consisting of students and invited guests at the Alumni Foundation Event Center on the campus of North Carolina A&T, a leading Historically Black College and University established in 1891. SportsCenter anchor Stan Verrett, a Howard University graduate, will host and moderate the forum.

President Obama will discuss lessons in leadership; the “My Brother’s Keeper” Initiative, which aims to address opportunity gaps faced by all youth including boys and young men of color; the current role and legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities; athletes and social activism; the Obama Administration’s actions to provide opportunity for students  and more. The President will also take questions from the audience.

Attendance: 14,467

That's better than this game would have drawn on a Saturday.

Why is that?

ticket discounts...

You think it's just that?  Because I read that they have always had a better turnout on Thursday than Saturday.

Do they always discount the Thursday games?

NO this is the first time that I can recall T doing any type of GA/Kids ticket discounts.

I was actually shocked when I saw the sign opening weekend that GA tickets had been reduced.

I live not too far from where this all took place literally a street over from my sub-division in University area.

I figured something was up when I saw the choppers flying overhead when I got home but not knowing at the time what had happened. Went to get gas drove right through everything as at that time it hadn't escalated however by the time I got to the station and came back through folk were really starting to gather in the streets as I had to maneuver my way through people to get home and just that quick the cops had blocked one side of Old Concord road immediately past the Mclean road intersection heading down towards University City BLVD.

Initially it was fine but as time passed and it got later the attitude of the crowd changed and things went SOUTH quick.

Is it on TV? Internet?

Good for this young lady.  Great choice!  Happy to see this.

We had the same thing happen in Greensboro back in the 90s.  A Dudley High graduate, valedictorian of his class decided to go to N.C. A & T over several Ivy offers and scholarships to pretty much any place he applied or wanted to go.  He too was one of those over achievers that could have gone anywhere.  The local newspaper headline read something like Howard (his last name) settles for N.C. A & T ...  ::) at settles.  Wish I could find that article.

Sounds like Dr. Howard's son. He mentioned this during my time at T.

Getting ready to leave Charlotte in a few to head to Norfolk hopefully our ladies can get over the semi-finals hump and win that Championship.

Congrats SSU

Aggies and Coppin up next.

I don't know if it's women - men - woman, etc. format.  But they could at least put the first game's time so you can project from there.

TBD means 2nd game starts 30 min after conclusion of first game. Go to and look at the actual brackets it has the time on it.

This was a great game to watch.  Outstanding shooting from both teams.  Both teams were raining 3s all over the place.  FG% was over 55% both and 3 pointers were over 52% on both sides.

I was HEATED that our live broadcast was disconnected as the game was tied with a little over 2 min remaining and never came back on.

Both teams played with alot of pride and passion and left it all on the court.
