Not so........ We played in Montgomery a few times and the majority of the games were played at Mumford. The SWAC added more schools and didn't need the extra out of conference game.
SU student population was 3 to 4 times that of private Tuskegee! We took our fair share of losses, however my point regarding Slater was the proof of production during his tenure.

Slater is a Good Coach, an even greater person..... It isn't uncommon for opposing programs to rise to the challenge. Morehouse hadn't defeated us in nearly a decade +. Every now and then, even a blind squirrel gets a nut! I agree that we need creativity on offense.
How many other HBCU's Coach has won 7 out of 12 Conference Championships?
How many other HBCU's have won 112 games in 12 seasons?
How many HBCU's have lost only 29 games in 12 seasons?
How many D2 HBCU football teams have knocked off more FCS programs than Tuskegee in the last 12 seasons?
