I've only been on one Carnival cruise, and it will be my last time. Some clown tried to hit on my then 15-year-old daughter and when she tried to ignore him, he grabbed her by her arm. Lawwwd, I tried to punch a hole in that dudes chest. Afterwards he and his boys kept yelling at me to watch my back.  ::)

No more Carnival for me.

I love getting late bloomers and hidden gems. Perhaps he'll become another Darryl Johnson?

Ok, I'm  already claiming him. 😁

We knew this day would come. Still I have nothing but love for Coach Ross and the kids who are choosing to follow him. They are making decisions which may affect a professional career. While I was hoping they'd  remain I see nothing wrong with following the coach who   helped them attain stardom.  ???

On paper good hires. 👍

It is not an official holiday in the state of NC yet. Thankfully I work for a company who has chosen to recognize Juneteenth significance and has opted to close today.

I like how quickly they moved.

Yes. Outstanding job by the AD to make an excellent selection in less than 2 weeks.

No search committee required!

CeeDog dig deeper and you will come up with the freaky a-- reason.

Lol, I can't wait to read your revised analysis.

Sports Forum / Re: Is the NIL ruining college sports?
« on: May 30, 2022, 03:40:41 PM »
I'm glad to see these athletes get paid but if some serious controls aren't put in place this whole thing is gonna turn sideways.

Large sums of money flowing to young athletes in sports where heavy betting takes place might be a baaaaad idea. Some of these NIL deals are eventually gonna come with strings attached.
???……what KIND of “strings attached”? What are you alluding to here, Decks, athletes INTENTIONALLY throwing athletic contests?  Please be more specific.

Yes, athletes intentionally throwing games is exactly what I'm referring to. As states start opening up legalized betting on college athletics, NIL may give the perfect cover. Hopefully I'm wrong.
