Freeman is a Alanta native and likes being at home. I hope that they pay him well because I am afraid that he will leave. Savannah State did a great job of streaming the game yesterday. A week ago, the West Georgia radio announcer said "Morehouse would not give us a stream". We neither annouce nor stream our games. We once did. We don't have time clocks on the field. One West Georgia announcer said with all the money Morehouse has, they aught to be able to afford to have time clocks. The other one said we should stop playing Morehouse. Don't knock  them because they are not a HBCU. They are only one hour's drive away. How long will our opponents allow us to do this. Havard University's football field looks like a dump. They get away with it because they are Harvard. I don'think that our opponents will allow us to do less with more.

True JT. I do not know what makes it official. You know that there is usually a Bennett car in the Spelhouse homecoming parade. I don't think anyone from Bennett is introduced at half time. For years the Morehouse Glee Club sung at Bennett at Thanksgiving and Bennett came to Morehouse in the spring. We could not wait to spend a night and two days on the Bennett campus. Those were the days when it was said that the Glee Club was more popular than the football team. Our only hope athletically was a fair track team and a basketball team that was often good enough to make it to the SIAC tournament quarterfinals.

I knew a male Bennett grad. At my class reunion ten years ago, the oldest living Morehouse grad was a female who had been a speaker at a AUC program when I was a senior. When the original Atlanta University became a all graduate school with the establishment of the Atlanta University Center in 1929, the students were given the option of transferring into Morehouse or Spelman. Some of the females choise Morehouse. Bennett is the official Morehouse sister school and not Spelman.

As I said in another post, Howard may be better than you think. I would not be surprised if they beat Yale and Harvard in their next two games. It was 0-0 at half. When you are the underdog, you just don't have your half time announcer throwing shade at the other team. The attendance was 35,000. They will grow from there.

I said in the beginning, give Coach Oliver a chance.

Howard may be better than people think. The were behind South Florida by only one touchdown with three minutes to go in the third quarter. Florida beat them by only three today after trailing in the second half. That Morehouse half time annnouncer should be silenced. Neither Morehouse nor any team needs their half time announcer saying anything that will fire up the other team.

All of the above is true. And with ordinary European common people as well. I deliberately did not mention the two Bowles sisters who had to be institionalizd. Nor the bleeding disease which affected European male royalty. My concern was what made ordinary German people allow themselves to be lead into war by one man. That was my comparison with Trump in America today. With the Japanese it was different. They knew that they could not beat the Americans. They believed that if they delivered one knockout blow, Americans were two degenerate to fight.

Bear for Life, Strike 79, and Cee dog, it would  be nice if our 'clear'countymen would read your posts. Whether Diana Spencer or Winston Churchill, the commonors that the upper classes associated with were not so common, they just did not have titles. Churchill's father and grandfather married Americans. There was a time in which land rich and cash poor English nobles married rich Americans. That happened with one of the Vanderbilts who was supposedly crying unhappngly on her wedding night. Her eight year old brother supposedly said "he is only marrying you for your money". She was eighteen. Supposedly, her husband would stare at her whenever she opened her mouth at the dinner table. She did her duty, produced a male hier, stayed in England and became quite prominent. Evidently her hsband had a relationship to Churchill since someone made the statement that she was glad the she had a  male child "because I would hate to see that bastard Winnie become the Duke of ... Malborough (I think)

As a history major, my major professor and faculty advisor at one time was English. He would say things like, we don't have this problem in England. (Segregation) I told him you will once they start coming in large numbers from the colonies.

What scares me about America today is before I had been to Europe, I would ask every one that I met from any European nation, who do Americans most remind you of. They would immediately answer as I thought they would. Germans. When I went to Germany, I was surprised at how friendly the people were. I did not expect it. On a airplane not only did the flight attendents appear to speak whatever language anyone else did, they appeared to look at you a knew what you were before you opened your mouth. I remember thinking "damn, how did these people lose the war"? That is what I find to be scary today. Some very smart people can belive that the election was stolen because Trump said it was stolen. That is so "Germantic". That happens to also be his ancestry.

Glad that I had a chance to see him in person. My favorite was 'The In Crowd'. While seated in the stands for things like time outs, the Ohio State University band used to always break out with Hang on Sloppy. I always wondered if they got that from him.

They just may be. A good start for them.

I have been to Edinburgh. I really liked it. I would have gone to London had time and finances allowed, but I would not make a special trip to go there. I am glad that I went to Paris, but I have no desire to go back. I thought that they were the rudest people that I have ever met. I really enjoyed Germany. I would go back there in a heartbeat.

The top athletes now have freedom from coaches like him.
For the majority, there is no change but they will probably be less brutalized in trainning camp.

I agree with you Bison 4 Life. A towering figure.

Fayetteville State and Bowie State are the only two CIAA schools which have the combination of enrollment and location to be considered for the MEAC. Near a major interstate and/or commercial airport.

I would like to say to the FAMU fans that from the Raleigh newspaper, I think the local people were surprised and impressed with their play. Maybe they thought that down 20 players UNC should have been off to the races at halftime.
