That's exactly what I mean.

I am so glad to see the NBA led protests growing and gaining strength.  It is making a great statement and shows action over money.  However; I am concerned that the very people they are trying to reach could give a rat's a-- about what they are doing.  Therein lies the problem.  Until those who can actually make a difference do so, nothing will change.  I am referring to district attorneys, prosecutors, judges, governors, etc.  It has to start with them.  When a DA says there is not enough evidence to prosecute; and there clearly is, and no charges are brought forth or all charges are dropped and the case is dismissed is the real problem.  I hope they grow some balls and have a change of heart and stop the insanity.

Stop the madness.  I'm an embalmer and I have embalmed hundreds of bodies over the last 20 years.  I have not encountered a body that was pronounced dead a found to be alive.  I do know that once your a-- is dead, your a-- is dead.  None of that farting, eyes popping open, sitting up - NOTHING.  If your a-- is not dead, you will we when that embalming fluid hits your a--.   :snicker

Listened to Keyshawn, Jay and Zubin this morning.  They were actually pretty good and I enjoyed them.  A pleasant surprise.  I CANNOT take Le Batard (Retard) and his crew.  They don't know if the want to be sport talk guys or comedians.  Too much comedian for me.

The CIAA should suspend/cancel all sports until Fall 2021.  This Rona Virus is serious and does not appear to be taking her a-- anywhere soon.  Common sense should prevail.

I have known Coach Williams since August 1973 when I entered St Aug as a know nothing, bright eyed, country boy freshman.  I think at the time he was working in admissions.  As a naive freshman, I saw him everyday hanging out with the Nupes and I thought he was a student.  When I got to St Aug we did not even have a track team.  I and many others who participated in track and field while in high school and just wanted to continue came together and formed a ragtag track team.  Coach Charles Harvin (God rest his soul) became our coach mainly because nobody else wanted the job.  He coached until 1975 and the same happened.  Nobody wanted the position and Coach Williams reluctantly took the head track and field coach position.  He was raw and had very little if any experience.  Stories have surfaced of him going over to NCCU and meeting with Coach Leroy Walker to get coaching advice.  Fast forward 45 years and his records and accomplishments speak for themselves.  As much as I like and admire Pup and his achievements I understand that the university comes first and no one is bigger than the institution.  I just have a problem with the word "fired".  The word fired should never be associated with his name. I just wish the school could have found a better way to resolve things. The man deserves a retirement ceremony with all the bells and whistles. Just imagine a farewell fundraiser and the money it may have generated.  Let's say a black tie event with a $100 per plate dinner with a live band and Coach Williams delivering a final drop the mic speech. It's going to take me some time to get over this but eventually I will support the final decision and continue to support my beloved St Aug.

Why are schools only addressing Homecomings?  Does that mean other regular season games will still be played and only Homecomings cancelled?  Or does that mean no football at all this year?

A little early to be cancelling this soon.  I guess there will be no football at all.  To answer you question everyone will eventually cancel.

No one has mentioned one of my all time favorites.  "Who Is He and What Is He To You".  Of course the Creative Source version of said song in the '70's took it to an all new level.  If you don't believe me go to You Tube.  Don't forget to turn the volume up very loud.

I can't believe the Trojans lost last night.  Thought VSU might win it all.  St Aug lost to JCSU by 2 last night.  JCSU was 39 of 51 from the free throw line while St Aug was 25 of 27.  They won the game from the charity stripe.  78 free throws in a college game is a lot.  JCSU is the home team.  IJS

I don't know where this list came from but St Aug has two titles.  1997 with Coach Norvell Lee and 2010 with Coach Lonnie Blow.

That's because they stole our coach.   :nono2: The coach that was winning the CIAA Women's Track and Cross Country every year while at WSSU.

Wow, I didn't know the Coach came from Winston.  I guess when Bennett went to FSU he brought and/or convinced nearly everyone at Winston to come to FSU with him.  Very Interesting.

I'm not feeling the tournament this year and not because of the teams.  I have gone every year it has been in Charlotte but I'm passing this year.  I went last year and I didn't enjoy it like I usually do.  Everything felt different.  I decided I would save myself $1200 or so and pass this year to get ready for Baltimore next year.  I have to go to Baltimore the first year just to check it out.

I was glad to see my boy, Kwe Parker have a good game last night.  He looked like the old Kwe.  He went from a high school team playing with Theo Pinson, Harry Giles, Brandon Childress and others to the University of Tennessee to Cape Fear Community College to NC A&T.

I'm so proud of my Lady Broncos.

You should be. They have come a long way very fast.
