Where in the Constitution is their a right to marry a person of a different race?

Where in the Constitution is their a right to use contraceptives?

Where in the Constitution is their a right for adults to have sex prior to marriage.

Y, I have a question for you.  Former Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist stated that Brown vs. Board of Education was wrongly decided so my question is what are your thoughts on it and what are you going to do when that case makes it way back to the Supreme Court?

Bowie has done a great job for the CIAA. They are well coached and have a national level program. They have nothing to hold their heads down for. They are the best the CIAA has to offer. The rest of us need to get better or shut the hell up. Valdosta is the Alabama of DII football. They would probably beat most of the DI HBCUs. Remember, the Gulf South conference has always been great. Remember Troy, Jacksonville State and many others has come from that conference. What Bowie needs is for the rest of the CIAA to get better. They are not getting ready for games like this playing weak CI teams. And the nerve of some of us being critical of them for losing in the third round.

Go Dogs!
Who is being critical of them losing in the quarterfinals? It's not like they lost to a team that was ranked lower than them. VSU was the number one seed in the Region 2 rankings while Bowie was number two. Another thing, It's better not be any HBCU's alum, student or fan is talking sh*t about Bowie when HBCU's are known to lose in the first round. What Bowie did was legendary because WSSU, Bowie, ASU, and Tuskegee are the only HBCU schools to play in the NCAA D2 quarterfinals.

AntonioM,

If you had a gun to your head, and someone asked you, "out of all of the people who participate on the Onnidan board, who would be the ONE 'person' who would throw shade and talk ish about a school/team having such a great season."

Gun to your head remember. the one GIANT A-hole of all of O-Dan.

The answer to your question is that, *ahem* person.

*Cue the Jeopardy theme music*

 :lmao:

From Family Feud:  Survey says, Y...that's the number one answer.

Bowie picked the wrong time to play their worst game of the season.

I THINK IT WAS MORE THAT THEY SIMPLY PLAYED A BETTER TEAM TODAY.  REMEMBER THAT WAS THE FIRST LOSS TO A D2 TEAM IN WELL OVER A YEAR.
I watched Bowie play before and they played nothing like they have this season or in the past IMHO.  Valdosta might have been a better team but Bowie self-destructed from the start.  Bad snaps, poor tackling, bad throws, poor DB play is what lost this game by that much.

Ay man, stuff happens. Very few teams in any level of any sport go through an entire season without stubbing their toes.

It ain't like we went out like a bunch of Willie Lump Lumps. We went out there and knocked off 2 programs a lot of people said we couldn't, straight punched them in the mouth and knocked them out. We would have had to have played the PERFECT game to beat VSU today, and we were far from it. Ish happens.

No bitterness on my end. These boys balled out with a QB who has been playing on one leg for his last 4 games, and with just one solid horse of a running back and still went 12-2. Despite today's butt-cuttin', I would say we have more than earned our respect this fall.
I don't think this game diminishes what Bowie has accomplished this year, nor do I personally feel my comment relayed that.  As I said they just picked a bad time to play their worst game. I don't buy the fact that Valdosta was so much better, I just think Bowie didn't play their game.

Excuses.

What excuses do you have for Fayetteville State University losing in the CIAA Championship game for the past four seasons?

Congratulations to the Bulldogs of Bowie State University on an outstanding season.

While Chowan isn't an HBCU, it is an associate member of the CIAA for football and women's bowling.  I have no problem with the player being invited to participate in the Legacy Bowl.  If there are NFL scouts there, he could possibly get drafted which makes the entire conference look good.

It shouldn't have taken this long to fire him.  He should have been fired on the Monday after the regular season finished up.

He's not fired. They aren't renewing his contract. it's a difference

That's a nicer way to say you've been fired.

Well the Tuskegee Alums was spreading this all over Facebook yesterday like a Wildfire in HBCU Facebook Groups. And several of my Tuskegee Friends called me yesterday and told me what was out on facebook.

Either it's not true and if it is true, it has not been released to the media yet.

White schools have a short list of coaching candidates. They are already vetted.  In VCU's case, they only hire coaches who have been through their coaching clinic.

Our schools have to form a committee.  Do a national search.  Which means they are taking applications. The committee then can't meet because a member or three has to attend their church revival.  Next scheduled meeting is the same time as the pastor's anniversary.  Now we're into December and nobody does anything because of graduation.  January rolls around and registration is the only thing that gets done.  Now we're past the signing date and the best who applied are already taken. The best recruits went to other schools.  He wins 2-4 games his first year and alumni are upset about the bum who got hired.

Most of our schools won't let the athletic department be independent.  Heaven forbid if the coach is more popular than the president/chancellor.  You get what you pay for.  How many of our coaches are paid more than the president/chancellor?

Hopefully, a guilty verdict will come back.  We all know Oldsport will not accept anything less than a not guilty verdict on all counts.

Fayetteville State University to reduce tuition costs to only $500 a semester

Not good.

Facts...I would put the blame on your current Chancellor for this.  If I recall correctly, your previous Chancellor opted to not have Fayetteville State participate in that program.
