In the movie 'A Soldier's Story' Grier plays as Corporal Cobb.

Them necks will be alright.  Most of those dumb comments are coming from their dumb neck cousins in Lafayette (ULL) who are jealous, but they know damn well LSU is not about to travel 100 to 120 miles roundtrip to play a Spring game. They made the best decision.  ULL stadium is just a little larger than Mumford stadium.  IMO, with the recent renovations, Mumford Stadium is just as nice or nicer than Cajun Field.  It would be a waste of time and money to travel that far for a Spring football game.

Yea and LSU would kick Penn State a**  so bad they would send the LSU football team to the STATE PENN.

Not in Happy Valley.

Maybe a few years back.  But now that LSU has a pro-style offense and is getting decent QB recruits, Penn State doesn't have a chance of beating them. Like someone stated, LSU has way too much speed for BIG 10 schools.  Les Miles tried to make LSU more like a BIG 10 school, which should not have been the case with the number of talented skilled players LSU recruits.

A great gesture. I wonder if a game is in the future between the two?

They are considering it, but I hope this is a way LSU's Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) could funnel some funds into SU's Athletic Programs.  Most of the donors for LSU's TAF are former LSU athletes, such as Shaq who spent a great deal of his time at SU socializing.  Marcus Spears graduated from SU's Lab School and his entire family are Southern grads. His uncle was once the Dean of SU's School of Engineering. He's currently the Dean of Engineering at AAMU. I'm sure Booger McFarland's family were either Southern or Grambling folks.  I wouldn't be mad at all if SU can get more improvement to its athletic facilities from this arrangement.  It's kind of a win win situation if LSU only has 20k at its Spring game.  20k in a 102k-plus stadium is definitely not feasible.  The excuse is, Tiger Stadium is having its turf replaced, which they do every year.  The Mannings definitely have made some improvements to Nicholls State athletic facilities for having their passing camp there.

SU has one of the largest stadiums (cap. 28,500) in FCS football. The improvements to Mumford stadium over the years has made it one of the nicest facilities in college football. I believe 20k attended LSU's spring game last year.  Maybe LSU's Tiger Athletic Foundation will donate to upgrade SU's lockroom with sleep pods. I hope Coach Odums will be there to take some serious notes, especially on how to develop a QB and run a pro-style offense.

IMO, THE BEST OVERALL REMAINS THE RECENTLY UPGRADED ADT SYSTEM. MY WIFE GETS IMMEDIATE NOTIFICATION/REALTIME VIDEO ON HER CELL WHEREVER, SHE IS.

I don't trust ADT.  Had them fools come install security at a house I was renting and they stole my hammer and screw drive.  Fat boy said he thought it was his hammer and screw driver.  I have no problems with Ring at my home.  Trying to get my family to switch over to ring and stop paying some high price security company to do nothing.

And yet, you people have no problem with VUL being accredited.

what.about.ism

typical response for a criminal in chief supporter

They set VUL up, which I think should close its doors, in order to have an excuse to steal billions of federal tax dollars. That's just like dumb racist White folks who think nobody can't see what they are doing.  At least VUL has a faculty and some students. It's a shame the irony of VUL being in the same town as the largest federal welfare school (Liberty) in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

You are quite confused on who YOUR people are. I used to pass by their office almost everyday on Hwy 221 in Bedford County. I do believe they are your typical Trump loving Evangelical Christians. IMO, they accredited VUL as a means of controlling dumb Black preachers in Virginia, such as the dumb Black preacher in Richmond, VA who supported Trump.  Also, these dumb Black preachers are the main reason why most Black communities spends more money than they generate.  The dumb Black preacher at the old church I used to attend in Lynchburg, VA was a perfect example of that. I do believe these are YOUR people.

Heart surgery or not, I don't think he'll ever be like his dad.  I'm sure he's staying with Dale Brown, Shaq's old coach at LSU.  I never understood why he initially picked UCLA over LSU.  His dad is definitely a major contributor to Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF). Majority of LSU's multi-million dollar former athletes are Black, who are the main contributors to TAF.  Ironically, majority of their success has been at the entertainment pleasure and enjoyment of White folks who care less for Blacks.
Who cares if he will ever be like his dad? Nobody will ever be like Shaq. Shaq was a once in a lifetime player. His son still got a chance to be good. Most great NBA players' sons are nothing like them. Shareef could have gone to any school in America. He was a top 100 player in the nation.

Did I say he won't be any good???  It's not that serious to me.

LSU is continuing to develop its pro-style.  With the type of receivers LSU has recruited over the years, they can easily make an average QB look like a pro-style QB.  IMO, in recent years LSU has had the best receivers in college football.  It was their QB's that were their big question mark.  I still remember the big time receiver (Michael Hayes) LSU gifted SU.  That young man came to SU and he was like a grown man playing against boys.  He was on the inaugural SWAC Championship team that defeated JSU in 1999.

Jindal has already tried that mess in Louisiana and it was a failed disaster. The state has lost millions in his voucher program to send kids to so-called better performing PRIVATE schools.

Jerry Falwell, Jr. is using this as an excuse to garnish support for his succession from Virginia to West Virginia, but his real motive is to get out of paying taxes.

Athens is a consolidated government with Clarke County, which is less than Lynchburg, VA metro area. If Athens had its own metro area, it would be smaller than Lynchburg's metro area.
