Still waiting for Oldsport to cite something that a member of the squad said that supports the claim that they hate America

Take my word for it.

I know not having WSSU on top of every sport in the conference ticks you off a bit bro, but hey.... :tiptoe:

Like I said before...Hall is gone, but we have the entire Oline coming back, a couple of solid RB's with a lot of time on the field for the past couple of years, and a decent amount of defensive personnel, a few who made All-CIAA last season.

If Gaston Cooper can pick up the offense like he said he can in the press conference, we still ain't gonna be no ones easy out. He's not in his teens anymore, and when he was at Paint Branch High, he was lightin' it up against some pretty good HS competition. I saw him play several times...Dude has skills. His only downside at this point is actual collegiate playing time.

I hear you man... but what are we going to do about that running back at VUU? He is our God.

As I was typing my last post, I thought about that dude...He gives me nightmares. I can only imagine what opposing LB's and DB's feel like tryna tackle that stallion...I was pleasantly surprised we beat VUU last year. Had it not been for a penalty and a couple of other mistakes by the Panthers, HE alone woulda killed us.

When is the CIAA Football Media Day?

https://theciaasn.com/

It was from 9am to noon earlier today...

Possible spoiler...The pre-season ranking for the top squad in the conference doesn't match the prognostication in this thread. I'll let you guess who that school is... :tiptoe:

Ladies and gents, we have a genuine, black klansman in our midst (sans the funny white pointy hat).

Brothers and sisters please re-welcome CLAYTON BIGSBY!!!! :brickwall: :brickwall:

He's not really a Black Trump supporter. This is fake too.

Rising Conservative Media Personalities in PA: Marc Scaringi, Kevin Martin

https://www.google.com/amp/s/hbg100.com/2019/02/10/rising-conservative-media-personalities-in-pa-marc-scaringi-kevin-martin/amp/

Kevin Martin from Pennsylvania told CNN's Van Jones that he voted for Trump in the 2016 election, and he still planned to vote for him in 2020, despite a few misgivings.

"All this, kind of this, far left talk is kind of scaring me, when it comes to the border," he said, though the rest of his statement was edited out.

"Look, I mean, I was raised in a conservative family, and I'm in business, I'm a business consultant, and business is great. And I don't want to lose that," Martin explained.

"And I know that a lot of the rhetoric coming out of the White House off twitter, is concerning," he admitted, "but putting personal feelings aside, I think that we're having a great economic boom, I mean, people are risking their lives to come here."

Sure looks to be a Trump supporter to me.

He better be scared.

Scared of what?

Yeah. I am curious. Why should he be scared? Something sounds and smells nefarious.

GET THE HELL OUT! Trump is just echoing what 99% of his supporters feel and believe. Count me as part of that percentage.

I love where I live. I just don't like some of the rhetoric coming out of these common, backwoods jerks mouth. As well as your backwards-arse Billiken of a president, and of course, as well as your coon arse.

Make me leave.

Why do pastors hold so much power in the black community?

I would really like to know...

Blacks are gullible.  They don't question pastors.  They will persecute anyone that who does.  That mentality spills over into other areas.

I know Blacks that can't even buy furniture or a vehicle without their pastor giving them the okay.  It makes no sense.

Just because you might know 2, 3  people that might be that insecure then conflating it to the general population of black people is ridiculous.

I know two black men who like to denigrate their own kind, but exhibit the same characteristics themselves.  For example posting talking points of right-wing extremists (handlers), will defend a white person over a black person (self hatred).  Love them some trump even after he has clearly shown himself to be threat to this country (traitors).

Maaaaaaaaan look. The coonery with these two people is downright ASTOUNDING! :brickwall: :brickwall: It just never stops.

Why do pastors hold so much power in the black community?

I would really like to know...

Must be a deep South thing, or a COGIC or Baptist or Holy Roller thing.

Lemme tell you something. I am a grown arse man. The day a Pastor tells me what to do, what to buy what to wear...Sheeeeeeeeeeee... ::)...Naw bro. I don't know who YOU know. I am AME. Any pastor I may have had leads the flock, suggest how folk should live in a good wholesome way, provides counseling, etc. etc. But I think they pretty much know they ain't gonna be TELLIN' people what furniture to buy, what home to buy, car to buy etc. etc. To be honest that sounds crazy.

It all depends on what YOU as a member allow. I attend church to get spiritually refueled. I also play drums at a church. It isn't my home church, but I play there every Sunday because I enjoy playing drums, and I enjoy the brotherhood-sisterhood. Ain't no clergy telling people what to do like that. They lead spiritually.

I moved outta my mom and dads house at 23 years of age basically, and started callin' my shots the day I received my bachelors degree at 22... So I been pretty much independent for 29 years.I don't need nobody, including clergy, to TELL me what to do.

Lord help the people you know where you live TSU/BAMA.... :tiptoe: :tiptoe:

Politics / Re: Old Sport and Y’s Labor Secretary resigns
« on: July 12, 2019, 02:39:00 PM »
In all likelihood, he resigned for the same reasons others persons resign from prominent positions in the government - he had become a distraction to the main focus of the administration's goals and objectives. He would have been seriously hampered from performing at the level required by the administration over the period of time the distraction would have lasted. It's as simple as that. Acosta did the right thing.

Yes, yes, yes. I knew you had it in you.

However, you didn't say you were wrong about Acosta resigning and you didn't admit that Acosta did a bad thing. But thats okay.  :)

Baby steps man. Baby steps. You know that admission hurt EVERY fiber of his being.

Oh yeah Roger Stone's book is credible but The Trump–Russia dossier is garbage.   :lmao:

Tell us again about group thinking, handlers and other crap you speak about.

 :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

This may be the Post of the Year right here. It encapsulates everything these smarmy, wanna-be know-it-alls regurgitate out of their pie traps ALL OF THE DANGED TIME... :lmao:

The same lame, canned, BS responses.
