Tuskegee band threatens to stop participating. Poor kids claimed that they weren't being fed on travel trips. I know from my experience in SU's band, it would have been a riot if Dr. Greggs decided not to feed us on travel trips. Band kids are not robots that can be taken off and put back on some shelf. They are human beings that require fair treatment as well.

Thanks JAG89 for your support. Hopefully "The MCP" will be back stronger and better

No problem...I think Tuskegee's administration should treat its band students with the same fairness as they do their student-athletes. Not feeding them on travel trips is beyond irresponsible. If their travels have anything to do with the university, they should be well provided for at the school's expense. The minute they put on that band uniform, they are representing Tuskegee University. Sometimes I get the strange feeling that Black individuals in positions of authority have adopted the wicked ways of White American slave owners during slavery.

Heard that Mr Duncan is returning to Skegee and the MCP’s. Also heard other changes are forthcoming soon.

Lenard was a good director. It's not fair because the administration screwed up he had to take the downfall. He didn't control the money. The president does. Smoke and mirrors

He didn't control what he was suppose to control. That's on him, not the president. There's a difference between directing and administrating. The band director job requires both skill sets...
