The MEAC Looks Forward to the Future

NORFOLK, Va., July 1, 2020 – During this period of membership transition and realignment, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Presidents and Chancellors, chaired by Dr. Wayne A.I. Frederick, President of Howard University, once again reaffirms its commitment to remaining a viable and sustainable Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) conference which fosters academic and athletics excellence among its students and student-athletes.

Wait and See what? No, I'm all in with the conference and our potential reach.  I see growth and opportunities ,heretofore a challenge, but the MEAC still survived with our programs growing.  Failure is not an option with some, but stagnation surely will get you sooner than later.  Getting the right people in the right positions in our Athletic Departments at member schools  should help with business modeling from new  outside fundings in addition to "taken for granted faithful " at the turnstiles and students fees.   We best wakeup!  Now you know, THAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY.  MOVING WILL NOT HELP IF ALL REMAINS THE SAME.
