Sat Feb 26
WSSU @ FSU

That game used to jam-packed and crunk!  Capel Arena was a tough place to play when I was in high school.  Those students and locals would give those Rams and their cheerleaders hell.  lol

Notice how Chowan is starting to be included in the TV rotations for football and basketball.  Some of our schools must improve their facilities.. tiptoe

Was thinking the same thing UNLESS I just totally missed what he K2 was saying.....

Shouldn't they have a right to have as much exposure and/or be in the rotation as the rest of the CIAA schools?

Who in the hell picked those games?  shrug

WSSU shouldn't be on tv. They have a couple more years of suffering for leaving the conference.

The only tv FSU & Chowan should be on is public access

VSU, lard have mercy, I know official game picker is on crack now.  brickwall

Sorry y'all Bears didn't make the cut.  Maybe y'all ought to get a real gym first before questioning the officials and the game they picked.  More than likely all the games picked WILL have packed gyms.   Roll Eyes

They just need to work on a new gym period.  What is it again...the first 500 students and that's all that can fit in the gym? SMH  #danerves

We upgraded our main gymnasium lighting for TV and photgraphic purposes, we're build as I type a brand new on campus Football Stadium incorporating the latest broadcast technologies, new Tennis Courts, and a $35MM Wellness Center.  Where is the love for the Lions? shrug

Hey I'll be the first to agree that we need a new gym. Our gym was too small when it opened. Here we are 60 years later and it still has not gotten bigger. Now that we have established that, lets get back to the  team with the 1-11 record.  Besides,  today I'm focusing on records not facilities so I won't even start up about the Gaines Center.

Not really. They are a new school and haven't won any football or basketball championships. Not saying they shouldn't be on TV. But my point is St. Aug last years defending football and basketball champion, Shaw and JCSU should be on TV. But we know a lot, if not all of that, has to do with facilities. The only time these schools are on TV is when they are the away team. Chowan increases their chances for exposure by having nice facilities so they could host a game or travel for a tv game. So my point was not a slight at Chowan at all, but to say that some of the original members are long overdue for a facilities upgrade  ASAP.
