I wish that I could make it to support E. E. Smith.  I am very glad that "the tradition" is still being upheld.

Let em know, Treese!  The "Magnificent Marching Machine" still runs NC.  My senior year (2001-02) we competed at Hampton's band day against Dudley, Hillside, Brooklyn Steppers, and Millford Mills (huge band) from Baltimore.  We took home every 1st place trophy that nite. lol.
