The thing I don't understand about people is that,  love it or hate it, the winds of change are in the air. I don't care how hard people try to fight it, gay rights are going to come full circle. Why, because it is simply the right thing. You can delay it, fight it, but this train can't be stopped. People said the same thing about civil rights. While southerners fought it, the rest of the country moved forward. The south's slow adaption, hindered us for years. The area did not begin to benefit economically  and prosper until all people were recognized and respected.

I understand voters have the right to dictate policy, but sometime voters are not right and it takes the courts to settle such issues.

Well, if the courts can overturn the votes of the people, then all that stuff about voting matters is all an illusion.
