With the upgrade to iOS 5, my iPhone 4 has most every feature available on an iPhone except for Siri.  Unless they come up with a couple of gotta have blockbuster features, I'm not going to have to be in a big hurry to upgrade.

I would not look for an actual release date until the last week of July, which is the normal date. The next iPhone will have a faster processor (A6), larger screen, an NFC chip(point of sale ability) and be LTE. I'm hoping Apple has worked out the battery issues with LTE. Considering you can't change out batteries in the iPhone, the current LTE chipsets are not practical. That larger screen will also burn up more juice.

The Chinese government is going to have to deal with it's internal issues now that the country is front and center on the world stage. What's normal to them is not acceptable to others. Ignoring these issues will began to hurt them economically.

The American system, the American Government  and American consumer all play a role in outsourcing.

Lets back away from Apple for a minute and look at Wal-mart.  The place is packed most of the day. Why is that? We want the lowest prices. Are we willing to pay two to three times more for goods in order to pay American workers to produce them?  shrug

Oh well, you stopped me dead in my tracks on this one. A 10 year old cell phone? Did they even make cell phones back then? Is it the size of a bread box?

Most American are hypocrites.   You can't just open up your closet and pick out one piece of dirty laundry and start crying. China has us by the gonads in most aspect of our lives, including buying our debt. You know as well as I do what kind of shape this country would be in if it were not for the Chinese gov. buying our debt. We can complain about conditions in their country but at the end of the day, there is little we can do about it. Who got us in this position? Our government, which consists of the American people.  We like to blame, blame, blame, but the biggest villain  is looking back at you in the mirror. We demand certain things and feel entitled to them with out willing to do without.
