El Cotton,  don't be so mean baby. I have seen your post and you are on point in many.  Now as for the problems Rison had with the aforementioned former coach beginning with B and ending in Y who won more games in his period of stay, 2  championships and run for the National title gave us some big chested moments that will last forever in the hearts of the players, alumni and fans of NCCU.   Coach Rison said to all in ear distance at a spring practice, after our winning 2 championships, one which he was a part of, "you wait and see what I will happen with this program when I get my recruits here and get rid of this mess here now."  Perplexed, we wondered what was going on upstairs and why he made that comment.  So we waited, and waited and realized it was going to be his way or else.  We needed ELSE.  Rison was myopically obstinate in his own abilities as an OC.  Hired this guy to do the work and all he did was sit in the booth with his headphones on, coordinating NOTHING.  The guy was frustrated and dejectedly left after one year.  Rison got rid of some good coaches and hired replacements who were questionable in abilities.  In the end it all came down on him and I hope he learned a lesson in leadership: hire good people, giving them the opportunity to do their job, step aside and not be a head coach and offensive coordinator with everyone whipping his behind knowing his weakness.   He may get the opportunity again to coach and I hope he has learned more than he knew and the best for he and his family.
