So if you really think you answered this "Samson was a man not a God.  Why can he be forgiven and not the rest of us?"  there is nothing more to be said.

Ahh... YEAH; your question was answered. Afterall, Samson killed himself... WITH GODs HELP.. and in the process redeemed himself to the point that his deeds were included in the Holy Scriptures.

I'm sure if GOD decides someone elses suicide will serve his purpose, then that person will be forgiven also.  shrug

My main premise is that we don't know what Don C. relationship was with God nor do we have the capacity to think like God so I don't see how you can with such surety say what God determined to be his fate.

 Shocked

WHOA there cowboy? With "such surety"? Are you reading stuff into my posts again? You naughty boy... I thought we talked about this.  nono2

"there is nothing more to be said."   You know you would argue with a stop sign to prove your point.  lol

Another legend is gone.  Thank you for all you did for African-Americans, DC.

Side Note:  Is it possible God looks at dying of certain health-related issues (smoking, drinking, food, etc.) as a form of suicide?

Yeah, I was thinking about those who drive drunk, hit a tree, then die.  Wouldn't that be a form of suicide?

Thank God for His grace and mercy.

While a drunk person may DELIBERATELY get in a car and drive, I don't think they PLAN to kill themselves by hitting a tree or anything else.

On the otherhand, very few people accidentally put a gun to their heads (or in their mouths) and then accidentally pull the trigger.  shrug

The difference is intent.

IF DC committed suicide, it was because he intended to do so.  shrug

At the end of the day, all of those situations involved people taking their own lives.  Those are not "natural causes".
