...........yeah, I adopt soflo's and Professor's responses as well.

I don't think the President had ANY IDEA how much intransigence and obstructionism the GOP would present to block his agenda.  And as Professior mentioned, alot more legislation should have been passed when he had majorities in both chambers of the congress.

Btw, the list that Devin set forth is impressive as well, and I would adopt those as sort of a SECONDARY category of mistakes by this administration.

The president should have given the military a bigger pay raise.  Like a 10% across the board pay raise.

Well I am just appalled - just APALLED!!!

How DARE you all criticize the first black President!  Don't yall know he can do NO wrong!  I'm about to pull ALL of yall's black cards!  A bunch of SELL OUTS!!!

*Please note the sarcasm in my previous comments - this thread is proof positive that black people  do not march lockstep just because they support a black man for President - they are NOT mindless sheep that follow everything he does and says without criticism - contrary to popular opinion we are not monolithic and we do have minds of our own nod

All have made great points.

I wish that President Obama would have stayed out of that Prof. Henry Louis Gates fiasco.  He should have said, "No comment."

He should have said, "Henry who?"  "Dr. what?"  "Is he Black?"  "Boston?  I'm sorry, I'm from Chicago."

Getting a health care bill passed that only democrats would vote for.

The stimulus bill.

Solyndra

The Czars.

He's also done a few good things.

Keeping Gitmo open.  He realized after getting sworn in and getting all of the information he knew he had to keep the base open.

Extending the Bush Tax Cuts.  That was not the time to raise taxes.

Extending the Patriot Act.

ARE YOU NOW AN OBAMA SUPPORTER?   I ONLY ASK 'CAUSE YOU HAVE YET TO SAY WHO YOU SUPPORT AS THE GOP NOMINEE.  lmao

IT DOESN'T MATTER AT THIS POINT.  ANYONE WHO HAS A SSN, THE CIAA ALREADY KNOWS HOW MANY FILLINGS YOU MAY HAVE IN YOUR MOUTH.  TRUST ME ON THIS.

Surely you jest.  Unlike most of you people I can agree with Obama on issues and disagree on others.  The overwhelming majority of you people would never agree with a Republican president.

The Republican I would like to see as president is not running for president.  If nobody gets enough delegates in the primaries that person might be a long shot to get the nomination at the convention.

AT LAST! EVENIF IT IS A NOT SO SIMPLE ANSWER TO  VERY SIMPLE QUESTION.  YOU DO NOT SUPPORT ANY OF THE CURRENT GOP CANDIDATES FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012.  NOW, WAS THAT SO DIFFICULT?  NO ANSWER, REQUIRED.  THAT WAS RHETORICAL QUESTION.

.........yeah, I completely forgot about the Gates fiasco.  I'm sure POTUS regretted making that comment about the white cop as soon as the words left his mouth.

Btw, I thought that whole "beer summit" foolishness was ridiculous and embarrassing.  no  The idea of the President of the United States sitting down on the White House grounds drinking a beer to mediate a dispute between a citizen and a cop was ABSURD.  Sad

Biggest mistake is assuming that the GOP side of the legislature was going to work with him on key legislation.

PERIOD!!!

His response to the BP oil spill?

No solution should have ever included the "wolf watching over the chicken coop"!!!

That was a Bad Decision to allow the Culprit,  to find the solution or the best action to minimize the damage to the environment, in addition to the Gulf Coast Economies that were all negatively impacted by "tar balls"...   brickwall brickwall brickwall
