Obama and Arizona's Jan Brewer Trade Words on Airport Tarmac

While I can understand being firm in your disagreement with the POTUS I can't think of any situation where an elected or non-elected person should publicly or privately for that matter point their finger in the President's face regardless of who is in office and/or party affiliation.

So you advocate being disrespectful to the person who holds the office of POTUS?

I will order a copy of her book. I really like this lady.

You Knee-gras are a piece of work. You sure as Hell weren't upset when a foreigner showed disrespect to President Bush by throwing shoe at him. This was just about words and not a physical threat. You dyam hypocrites.

You still did not answer my question.  The key word in your post is foreigner.  No one is really surprised by a foreigner being disrespectful but American citizens should be respectful to all elected officials whether you agree with them are not.  Once again you have proven yourself to be a liar because I protested the action and question why the SS were so slow reacting.  I did joke that he moved pretty good and must have had practice dodging Barbara's shoe.  I must admit that you are well suited to be a republican.  You lie all the time. You never answer a question directly, you complain and offer no solutions, and you are disrespectful to those you don't agree with.  Heyal you ought to be the Republican nominee.  Roll Eyes

I beg your pardon:

THIS WAS A TRULY DISPICABLE ACT AGAINST THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. THROWING HIS SHOES WAS A PARTICULARLY SIGNIFICANT ACT OF DISRESPECT.

I loved how Bush just smirked at him after the 1st shoe missed. LOL!!!

Despite the fact that, IMO, he has not been the best of Presidents, the office of POTUS is still sacred and deserves much respect. For entertainment purposes alone, he will be missed. I also applaud how he has treated Obama and has helped the transition period into Obama's presidency.

The smirk was priceless. Kinda like "I'm from Texas. Come get some." HA!

Interesting that no conservative leaning posters are opposed to her actions. Very telling indeed. The raw nerve of you people not to denounce her actions and utter lack of respect for the President.  I wasn't a Bush supporter but would never embrace anyone doing anything remotely close to disrespecting the person or office. Shameful!!

I want to see the video of this before commenting.  You people are making a decision over what probably was 1/2000 or less of a second of time.

Does anyone have a link for the video of this?

It's amazing you people had no problem when President George Walker Bush was being disrespected.  You people didn't start any threads about people being disrespectful to President George Walker Bush.

Governor Brewer says she did not disrespect President Barack Hussein Obama.

This goes on to prove the point everyone has been saying about the way the POTUS has been treated and what the underlying or root cause of the problem is. A picture is worth a thousand words.  Gov. Brewer thanks for the helping us speed our cause on its way.

'87, there is no video.  For obvious reasons AP does not show that exchange in the video.  They cut to still shots.
