Good stuff.  Sound Machine had a lot of energy those days.

That is very true. nod clap They were small, but had lots of movement. I was looking at the year 2000 Homecoming footage today. With the Band's Dancing "Breakdown" going through the Drum-line to get into the stands, it took them well over 10 minutes+ to get about 80+ Band members at that time, into the stands. WOW!! But, those kids had lots of energy and were entertaining for their size and lack of support from the school, at that time. (I may post some of that footage within the next couple of weeks or so, for old-time Flashback and appreciation of their hard work, sake.

Also, the Marching Sound Machine of today, under Mr. Reid is much more Polished, Balanced, Professional with much better musicianship.

I truly do appreciate and Love our Band's History, especially those students who marched between 2000-2002 who became the foundation of the New NCCU Marching Sound Machine of today.

Take care!

I remember seeing this in person.  The "old" Sound Machine was more spirited and just as entertaining as the current version.  Those chants were serious.  They need to bring that back.

Reid is doing a great job though.  They are a lot more polished now.

I remember this game.  The atmosphere was electric in the 1st half until it started raining.

Yes indeed. It was about 43,000+ fans there to see that game in Raleigh. But, it did rain buckets that day and the Bands were not allowed to do their Half time shows on the field.

Take care!
