Wednesday, October 26
Motivational Task Force Classroom Visitation
Alumni consultants will visit various classrooms to share career tips from a variety of disciplines. Time: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m Location: Various locations Admission: Free
Motivational Task Force Student/Alumni Networking Reception
Students are invited to mix and mingle with alumni and friends from various professions.
Fashion/Dance Show
A university fashion and dance exhibition in which all modeling/dance troupes will have the opportunity to display the latest fashion and dance moves. Time: 7 p.m.

Eagle Pride by Gil Faison
A theatrical celebration of NCCU’s founder, Dr. James E. Shepard, and the university’s
first one hundred years of Truth and Service.

The entire Research Triangle Park area is celebrating NCCU’s Homecoming. Join Brian Dawson of K97.5, the Triangle’s Hip-Hop and R&B station, as we bring in the weekend with a live broadcast from the A.E. Student Union. Enjoy music, contests, interviews and much more. Founder’s Day – Society of Golden Eagles Induction
The university will honor founder Dr. James E. Shepard and induct members of the Class of 1961, who are celebrating their 50th anniversary reunion. Dr. Clarence Williams ’61 will serve as the Founders Day speaker.

Wreath Laying Ceremony
The celebration continues as we lay a memorial wreath at the statue of founder Dr. James E. Shepard Time: Immediately after Founder’s Day

Society of Golden Eagles Luncheon
Luncheon in honor of the new 1961 class of Golden Eagles.

Homecoming Golf Tournament
Shotgun start format. Proceeds will support the NCCU Student-Athlete Book Fund Scholarship. Time: noon Location: Falls Village Golf Club, 115 Village Drive
Admission: $100 advance/ $150 on-site
Class Reunion Registration
Registration for classes ending in 1 and 6 will be conducted at class host hotels.
Homecoming Registration
Homecoming attendees who register through the online service can secure their tickets at the Homecoming Headquarters.

Straight Talk with Russ Parr

Reunion Class Banquet
All classes ending in 1 and 6 will celebrate a century of legends and traditions. Ticket includes dinner and admission to the Maroon and Gray Soiree.

Eagle Homecoming Camp
Parents of future Eagles ages 5 to 13 can register children for one or two nights of fun activities at the 2011 Eagle Homecoming Camp. The camp allows alumni to share with their children the place they called home for four great years. We’ve integrated the spirit of homecoming into the program by including NCCU activities and organizations that are icons of our Eagle experience. Participants also receive an Eagle Homecoming Camp T-shirt.
Time: 6 p.m. – 2 a.m.
Location: Eagle Landing Residence Hall
Admission: $45 per child per night or $80 for both Friday and Saturday
Pan-Hellenic Step Show
A thrilling show of precision and balance featuring the NPHC Divine 9.

Maroon and Gray Soiree
The official Homecoming party, hosted by Chancellor and Mrs. Nelms. All alumni are invited.
