Fort Valley Is Winless... And Loaded With Talent

  Fort Valley is loaded with talent, having two quartebacks, though one has a minor injury, both of whom are agile. Furthermore, they have a solid defense and very good special teams unit. However, one can only wonder why is that FVSU, for the first time in history has the worst starting record ever, 0-3. The first lost of the season, was a lost that showed the tell-tell sign that the team was good and should be a force to be reckon with in D2 football. However, the 27-7 lost against Deltat State and 16-11 lost against Clark Atlanta shows that FVSU is lacking in a key area. From looking at the last two games, it proves that it is the offense that needs to improve. The Clark Atlanta game  was a battle of field position, defense and special teams put up almost the same amount of points that the offense put up along with holding the CAU Panthers in their territory most of the night. The only good point that the Wildcats have so far is that they only allow about 22 ppg., but they only put up 13.3 ppg. The difference of points is 8.7 pts and if Fort Valley is to make a turn around it has to start this Thursday.
Clark-Atlanta was supposed to be considered a game that was without a doubt a win, however, one more conference lost, and the Wildcats will just be playing for respect for the remainder of the season. How can it be that we, have all this talent and cannot win a game? Many say that the answer lies in the head coach, Donald Pittman. From what's been said, he does not want or believe to need an offensive coach. Many think different but the two main people that this lies in is Dr. Caldwell and Dr. Rivers. If we want to keep a decent football tradition going and keep students wanting to come to play for FVSU, then this season must turn around quickly. The Valley is loaded with talent every where but the O-line.  The only way the offense can improve is for the O-line to play better.  There is no excuse for letting a team blow up the middle at will, I would have been questioning somebodies manhood or telling them I believe they took a number 2 in their pants because they are playing with fear. The way the DT kept coming in I would have ran a jet trap  or double teamed his a--.
