I don't know all about that.  I know that JSU, SCSU, and BCU had the best shows.

I would add WSSU to the list. Ultimately is was the Marching Wildcats. Their formations put it over the top. I am over the drum majors throwing fake money.

I also thought that this year's Honda was pretty tame.  With the exception of maybe 4 bands, my friends and I were bored.

1. scsu - Most entertaining and creative.  Best drill formations and visual effects.  Best concert selection of the Honda.  The concert coda with the picc trill and flags was brilliant.  Show was great from lil drummer boy intro, fanfare, drill, concert, dance routine with big girls, to the finale.  The only band to receive a standing ovation at the Honda, and earned every bit of it.  I thought the rappers were overkill, but the sideline "Neck" blowdown was an exciting cherry on top that the crowd enjoyed.

2. bcu - Best sound, marching, and precision.  The first note DEMANDED the crowd's attention. There was an obvious difference between bcu's sound and everybody else there.  It was loud, intense, full, and clean.  Hypest intro.  Very effective "Deuces" drill.  14K was the best dance group period - looks, dancing, energy, sex appeal.  Just the total package.  The concert piece kind of dragged the show, but sounded great as usual.  Nothing from the dance routine stood out to me, but the ATL Falcons pic was a great way to end the show.

3. tsu - The most consistent energy, drive, and crunkness throughout the show.  They brought heat with their sound.  "Tear da club up" intro was hype.  The Lloyd slow break in the drill had the whole Dome singing.  I enjoyed hearing "Sparkle" for the concert piece.  The dance routine and ending were pretty good.

4. jsu - Show started off very strong and energetic.  Since the crowd was asleep after tsu, jsu's sound woke them up.  "Power" while forming "swac" and the dancing tiger was very entertaining.  Minus the "Piece of My Love" concert selection which the Dome seemed to really enjoy, everything after the first drill was anti-climatic.  The Jsettes didnt seem to give their signature energetic performance.  Nothing stood out to me from the dance routine.  The B.O.B. sideline blowdown was loud, but wasnt very effective in eliciting the desired audience response.  The show didnt finish as strong as it started.

5. wssu - The best small band @ the Honda.  Great sound for their size.  Really enjoyed the concert medley and trio of ladies singing Natalie Cole.  Crunk sideline finale was a great ending.
