Decks thats the old design...the current design looks like this:

Although i think it needs to be expanded at least from 20yd line to 20yd line, its head and shoulders above our current Pressbox as shown below:

Exterior

Chancellor's "Suite"

Access to the "Second Floor" Roll Eyes

We have a top of the line Track, Field House, Million Dollar Scoreboard and a Pressbox from the 80's??? Its been time for this relic to be "retired"

Why do you think it needs to be expanded?

if im not mistaken, the new box will have a footprint roughly twice the size of the current box we have...and 4 levels (including ground floor elevator lobby and film decks on the roof) which indeed is nice BUT...

I feel that by expanding it from at least 20 to 20 will offer more boxes for lease as there are only 2 spaces that will be available in this design...long story short its a revenue thing.

Heck i actually wanted us to go up another level and have open air club level seating on the 1st floor... from the design, the viewing decks on the lower level are right on top of the fans in the reserved seating...but any progress is indeed progress, i just don't see many expansion options after this thing is built and would hate to have to make a radical and more expensive change once we have outgrown this box

Wow... but my question is if the MEAC Track Championships are to be hosted at A&T for a week in May, will this delay any construction?

Does anyone know the cost of this stadium.  I love just about everything about it.  The added press box renovation will just set everything off to another letter.

The new pressbox is costing $3.2 million. The original stadium cost roughly $2.5 million before expansion from 14k to 21,500 permanent seats in the mid 90's.

I drive past Aggie Stadium 3 or 4 times a week.  I will have to be sure to take notice of the construction.  I did not notice anything when I drove past there on last night.

Why does NC A&T call itself  "Blue Death Valley"?

Frank Howard Field at Memorial Stadium at Clemson University is popularly known as Death Valley.

If memory serves me well "Blue Death Valley" was created by Bornthrilla as a play off of Clemsons "Death Valley." This was done in 2000 after the Blue Death Family was created.  Who knew the name would stick?  shrug

You do know that Blue Death Valley is the name of a website and not what the stadium is called
