There you go, won't to fire Coach Rison just after one lost.  Shame, shame, shame.  What poor sportsmanship.  Hold your heads up high Eagles.  I believe you can fly.   Sorry Kirk, I had too get that one shot in tonight.  Radio Shack has transmiiters on sale, maybe that will bring back some fond memories of Broadway regime.   lol

Rison coached at Stanford, the NFL, years experience and he can't carry Connell jock strap.   Rison was simply out coached tonight by a young upstart who will be in coaching for a long time.   He was too young for A&T and wasn't considered when his name came up at NCCU (too young)  WELL, he beat our a-- tonight and certainly was the better coach with a better called game.   LOOK,  TIME MANAGEMENT has been our biggest problem since he has been here.  Our QB did not have it tonight and the guy gave us our first victory did not get 1 (one) snap at this game.  NOT ONE!   Our QB has a one track mind on receivers.   #4 is good, however you can't force it down a defenders who is much taller alley.   Rison is determine who his QB will be and to hell with the others.  This is a hard loss to swallow.

I agree 100%.  It was ashamed that the kid that did such a great job last week did not get to play tonight.  It's not like Johnson came in on fire.  It was very difficult watching this game tonight.  I was really thinking about not traveling with the team next week, but my daughter is cheering.

The theme of the season is: Lose to Winston, fire your coach.  lmao

See....Winston-Salem State University should never have departed the MEAC. Looks like you put it to North Carolina Central University.

I'd suggest the WSSU fans put pressure on your university to make them return you to the MEAC. Plus, the MEAC I'm sure enjoyed your WSSU attendance.

How was the attendance?

Does NCCU see a need for an expanded stadium?

No need to start that debate again. Alot of us are still sore about it. Let Winston start losing again and see fans disappear in a heartbeat.

NCCU should schedule Tuskegee. We've not yet had a chance to feast on some Eagles. We'd enjoy the invite..... nod tiptoe

I think I saw somewhere around 9,700.  I maybe wrong though.  There was a good crowd despite the rain.

I am so pissed, I can hardly contain myself.  Less than two minutes on the clock , we are marching down the field with the run, first down after first down. First and about 35, 1.58 on the game clock, the score is 27-27, all we need is a field goal and Rison calls for the long ball on first down.  His a-- must go. Just dam dumb. No reason for that call. The kids played to hard for that kind of coaching.

I must admit, I was very surprised at that pass call, myself. It looked like NCCU did have time for the run  to set up the winning Field Goal or at worse, another chance in overtime.

Yes, that was very disappointing at best. I don't know, maybe Coach needs to sit down and have a very long talk with his OFFENSIVE Coordinator (smile)! no

OK, time to prepare for next week.

Take care!
