No need to rehash the attacks on the president. Comes with the territory. Even though the right has called him every thing except the anti-Christ.

Rangel,Water, Euncie Johnson and God knows who else. Not casting blame but just asking a question out loud?

Sure politics is blood sport but seems curious to me thats all.

Rangel and Johnson are as guilty as hell.  The problem with these black politicians is that they are just as corrupt as the white ones.  When your organization spends more money on catering than black scholarships I have a problem with that---I also have a problem with corporate sponsors who donate money to you writing your position papers for you.

It's interesting how some of us don't want to consider what you said is true.

If we are so "saintly" why is crime in our neigbhorhoods higher than other parts of town.  Over the last couple of months, Durham has turned into the wild, wild, west, with all the shootings....and guess who the shooters/victims are?  I know  offtopic

I think it's open season on most elected officials.  Let's be real here, some of these folks get elected and do nothing at all in office.  And to make matters worse, we'll sit there and fall for the okey doke a month or so before the elections and put em in office again.  If we don't educate and empower ourselves, we will always get hoodwinked and bamboozled by folks, and some of our own folk are the worst offenders too....

Ken,

Rangel has just been there too long, but Harlem keeps sending him back. But with Percy Sutton dead and the Paterson machine disabled he maybe on his last go round.

Seems that Black pols haven't gotten that memo on what you can or can't do.

As for the CBC the foundation sold its soul long ago .But I find it curious that few Blacks in Congress are rich but most white are millioniares or more.

Meg Whitman and the wife of Vince McMahon have spent tens of millions of their our cash in the primaries.

Porter Gross and other right-wing elements has grudge against Rangel..  I really disagree about Rangel being guility as hell..  He spent most of his political career fighting for the people and black businesses.. Let's not forget Rangel has being target of the right wing since the seventies...  Also Gross going after Waters for exposing how our CIA and Reaganites allowed the Contras flood the Black Community with drugs....

That may be true, but Rangel has problems with his tax returns and you don't mess with the IRS.  Last nite it was stated that Congressperson Johnson not only give her relatives Black Caucus scholarships, but had the funds shipped directly to her relatives rather than the University.  A black snake is just as dangerous as a white snake.
