M.R.S.B. RAM:
Yea The FVSU BMMB has done a complete 180     give em a few years and they will be a sight to see

that damnYOGI....:
Are you "Billy Goats" being sarcastic? Granted, I have thoroughly stated that the "Blue Machine" has definitely fallen off some years, in terms of, numbers and sound. And I will tell you, if they are hot garbage, they are hot garbage and they have been for some years now. I can actually say they are going in the right direction. Just need to really get the numbers up more. Plus, the band director has only been there for about 3 or 4 years now?

that's all... :tiptoe:

I wasn't being sarcastic, i was actually being honest...that Black n' Blues actually sounds decent.....as far as the  numbers,  it's unfortunate that most of the state institutions here in GA are unable to provide financial assistance to bands members. If so, I think most of our bands would have a considerable amount of members.....looking forward to hearing the MRSB this weekend, hopefully it won't be a one sided battle at the Fountain City this year

QueHBCUFan:
I know this is going to send some folks off the deep end, but I'm still not impressed with the musicality and precision of FVSU band.  And don’t look at it as hating; just take it as constructive criticism. Considering past years, I would agree that improvements have been made, but it’s not that noticeable, in my opinion.

Valley Girl:
Nothing wrong with your opinion....you're entitled to it...bands are subjective...you like what you like..

Bands are subjective.....there are VERY few bands that I'm impressed with....none of them are in the SIAC...

BMMB always has a special place in my heart....the Alumni band is supposed to start a new fundraising campaign soon....hope it comes to fruition..
