as much as i am not a fan of e. e. smith, they will beat the brakes off hillside.  everybody knows in 4-a football the road to the state championship goes through fayetteville.  there is not a high school in durham that can compete with a fayetteville high school.  the golden bulls will leave durham 2-0.

Didn't Hillside just beat Terry Sanford?  Isn't that school in Fayetteville?

The 3 - 0 Dudley High Panthers travel to Raleigh Wakefield on this Friday.  The next Friday, September 17, we will invade the Hornets Nest.  Hopefully both teams will be 4 - 0 at that time.

Hillside get to beat EE Smith and Dudley.  

The Dudley defense will shut down that high powered Hillside offense.  The Hillside QB will be scrambling for his live the entire night.

Please!  Hillside is no joke this year.  Your team will not have a chance.

This sounds like it's going to be a great game!  The Dudley Panther Defense is no joke.  I saw Hillside a couple of years back at NE Guilford.  It got ugly real fast.  Hillside's speed was too much.  Speed kills!!!

Sorry, but I left when the score was 48-0, Hillside.  It was a great crowd, I had to sit on EE Smith's side to get a seat.  But that filled up to. 

As for the band battle, I have never heard Hillside play so good.  Great job Hillside.  However, the winner of the band battle was E.E. Smith.  This was my first time hearing them and oh boy.   EE Smith did their thing in the stands and on the field.  I thought I was at a college game.   I heard it before and now I know, they are the best band in Fayettevile including FSU.

Sorry for the beat down Drumma.   Good luck on your college team.

Yes, Hillside is loaded. We got kicked up and down the field, but I still had a good time. The place was packed; The Magnificent Marching Machine did not disappoint......good job, STICK PHI DOG...great job keep it up. Dang almost forgot about the good old tasty FISH, off the chain....

Southview is in Cumberland County with many Fayetteville residence attending the School.  It like living in Durham County and attending Bethesda High (ex).  I have family that attended that school and lived in Fayetteville.  South View  got so big they made 2 additional high schools out of it.  Jack Britt and Grays Creek

Uh NO. . . that distinction belongs to the Marching Wolverines of Westover High School.  They've been kicking the MMM's butt for nearly a decade now.

And shout out to Cape Fear who do their thing on the DCI circuit.
