the first onnidan union will be 5-7 august 2011 in raleigh, nc.  i will have a host hotel by the end of the week. 

i am working on an itinerary and should have that finalized in a few weeks.  some of the things being planned are tours of shaw university and/or saint augustine's college.  a meal at the pit authentic barbecue.  possible lectures and/or discussions on the state of hbcu athletics. 

if you have any input or suggestions let me know.

I stayed at the hyatt place in Raleigh right behind bahama Breeze during football season last year, the rooms were nice and reasonable.  I don't remember the number  but I do think they have a multi purpose room.

GK, OW is not available on that date.

So far nobody in Raleigh is returning phone calls.  I tried all of the downtown hotels due to the price of fuel.  I'm now calling hotels in RTP.
