Good job Passionettes!!! Does anyone know what the MRSB is looking like this year?

I was told they had 65 incoming freshmen in addition to what they has last year so..who knows, ASU can never get over 250 for some strange reason... I think 06 was the largest I've ever seen MRSB...

Naw MRSB biggest year was 2004 we had 160 instrumentalist and about 10 dancers and flag girlies each. Putting the band around 180. ASU will never break 200. The school will not support the band and they fail to realize that MRSB is the school BIGGEST endorsement. I like to think of MRSB as the biggest and best band WITHOUT SCHOLARSHIPS.

What can be done to increase the numbers?  Do we have a support group for the band that's similar to the Quaterback Club?

the simple problem as to why the band can't grow is the Band Director Michael Decuir is not interested in the MRSB he is more interested in the Jazz Band.  Decuir does not communicate with the former band members who marched under ASU long time Band Director Dr. Lamar Smith (Doc). Decuir did away with a lot of the stuff ASU used to do in the stands to hype the crowd up and involved in the game. Decuir would be fine if the band was called Albany State Marching Band, dropping the MRSB all together...

Well MRSB from 2001-present is light years ahead of anything Jones or Smith ever put out on the field. The little respect that MRSB gets now was never there 10+ years ago......
