Since it is a tad bit more than 3 weeks prior to kickoff of the SIAC football season, there needs to be a consensus on a tie breaker procedure for 2010, should that scenario presents itself at the end of season.

As of now, the SIAC football season consists of 61 games.  This includes the Turkey Day Classic and the Pioneer Bowl.  As with previous years, the season concludes with the last game - Pioneer Bowl or last D2 playoff game.  The results are cumulative throughout the season.

A decision will be based on simplicity so that everyone basically understands the rule.   read  nod

Jaimac,

Here's a simple tiebreaker:

Whoever has the most perfect weeks during the year wins.

One of the things you've done over the years is give out who made all of their picks correct for each week.  Keep track of that and use it to break a possible tie at the end.

That is interesting Shelt.  Had not thought of that approach.  It is simple.   nod

I agree but when we move to the East West format and induct the Championship Game then you might not need a tie breaker system. nod

Don't think so MB1.  Regardless of divisions a SIAC game is a SIAC game (you do realize we're talking about a tie-breaker for our Onnidan Pick'em game here on the board right?)

Hey Jaimac, if it's still tied after the "perfect weeks" tie-breaker, then we can get into my super elaborate tie-breaker scheme that I devised last year (If I still remember it).   laugh

Ummmm......NO.   no   There is not a need for you to resort to digging up the version you suggested last year.  The thought and initiative is appreciated.   nod

I have thought about the possibility of a second or a third tie breaker scenario.

The first will be as you suggested.  The number of weeks with perfect picks at 100%.  The second could possibly be based on the accumulation of points scored by the posters' picks throughout the season.
