I recently discovered...and have perfected...Alabama White BBQ Sauce. It goes great with chicken and ribs. It is also great for those that cannot eat tomato based sauces like my mom.

Why have the Alabama/SWAC/SIAC types have been holding out!!!  shrug   Grin

I, for one, have not been holding out on the AL white bbq sauce.  I have seen it prepared.  It is just not on my regular list of condiments.  IMO, one has to really like mayo.  I only use mayo sparingly on sandwiches.

No holding out here either.  nono2
I like it more for grilled fish (salmon, tuna steaks) than other meats.

@Jaimac- I guess if you're not a mayo fan and seeing it being made you would be turned against the White Sauce.

I got the recipe from a Chef buddie who worked at a place called "Ugly Tuna".
He added Old Bay Seasoning to it.  Wink

That is the recipe I use but I leave out the horseradish. I also add paprika.
