Dahill, be nice.  Real talk, that video that Slope posted was tight.  You could feel all of those years of frustration being released when they beat Grambling and won the SCG.   lol  They have some very hungry fans.  I hope they keep it up and develop a good traveling fan base, similar to the one they brought to Birmingham.

DRUMMA1,

It was reported that at the SCG PVAMU had several thousand fans that travell over 700 miles from Prairie View to B'ham.  AAMU fans barely showed up.   They were far outnumbered by the PVU fans.  It was obvious watchign that game on TV last year.

lets be real.... the championship game is IN Alabama.... its a gametime decision as far as weather... How many people are you going to get to go to a game with freezing RAIN... when you can watch the game live.  PV folks had already made plans for the game, bought plain tickets, reserved hotels back 3 weeks before when they found out they were going to the championship game for the first time in 4 decades.  It was COLD (under 30 degrees) and raining... I didnt even go the game and I have NEVER missed a SWAC Championship game.  I sat in the rain one game last year and got sick as hell... had to miss 3 days of work... I was good watching on tv.

You support your team no matter what. Maybe the Bullmutt fans dont understand this concept. Most SWAC title games have has terrible wheather but that didnt stop everyone else's fans from showing up. We won the SWAC title in 07 in awful conditions but that didnt stop JSU fans from showing up in HUGE numbers.

in theory that SOUNDS good.... and bruh Ive been to EMPTY JSU-ALCORN games in the COLD and RAIN.... and its a rivalry game.

kill that 07 talk.... it wasnt no damn horrible weather... I had on short sleeves that game... it started raining in the 4th quarter.

Started raining with 8:23 left in the 3rd to be perfectly honest with you, I have the DVD of the game right here. Moving right on along, JSU fans always show up when there is something on the line, your fans dont. You have a sorry fan base, GET OVER IT! Roll Eyes

like I said it wasnt no horrible weather and weather in the 3rd quarter WONT affect attendance at a football game... So JSU fans only show up when something is on the line?  Does that make them REAL fans?  Real fans will be at a game no matter how the team is doing...We saw during the Bell era how many TRUE fans JSU has.

We all know with HBCU's people attend games based on who the team is playing... JSU will always have more "fans" at a SU game than they will at a UAPB game.  AAMU simply only has one rivalry game in the SWAC and that is Bama State.  Every other school is 5 plus hours away... another thing Most SWAC schools are in a predonminately Black city.  Huntsville is about 27% Black.... thats not the case in Jackson, Baton Rouge, Houston, Lorman, Itta Bena, Pine Bluff or Montgomery.

Our fans show up any way. Even in the Bell years we were in the top 15 in attendance every year. What does the racial makeup of Huntsville have to do with you guys not showing up to support your team? Most JSU fans that show up on Saturdays are not from Jackson. A lot of those folks travel from Birmingham, Memphis, Mobile, and other places. There is no reason the a school should be able to come to your campus and their fans out number our fans. I can think of several occasions where this has happened at AAMU. Birmingham is only an hour away, why don’t yalls sorry arse alums drive up to Huntsville?

alums sorry because they dont attend a football game?  bruh get da hell out of here.... An alum who isnt giving back to his/her alma mater is what I call sorry?  Do you give?  BTW Where are all of these "fans" during basketball season?  Yall had TWENTY dollar season tickets, the best team in the league and your games still were empty.  I guess my definition of FAN and yours is different... my definition of "sorry alumni" and yours is different.

Have the two teams won their division yet? If so, who are the teams?

As of right now, it looks like it will be Jackson State vs. Grambling.  PV and Texas Southern are tied for 2nd place in the west with only 1 loss so if Grambling loses to Southern in the Bayou Classic, things could change.

It would be nice to see G-Men vs. Jax State in that mug. Warren and "White Tiger" should be on offensive shows for sure!!

Yep.  The 2007 SCG had a few plays to make SportsCenter's Top 10 plays of the day.  I wish this year's game would be televised on ESPN2.
