AMA & Slope, your responses were a lot more dignified than mine would have been. Angry

Why, i'm asking a critical analysis question. I don't understand why you would raise 500K to go to a parade when you could invest that into your program. A parade lasts for 4 hours........ you could impact students lives forever.

To each is own, Congrats again

Well, believe is on not Professor that is one of the main points why NCCU is doing this venture.

NCCU is building a program that will feel the impact of the 2011 Tournament of Roses Parade, for many decades to come.

Thank You for your support and best wishes.

Take Care!

I hope this trip sparks growth in the band.  This is a good opportunity for the Sound Machine.

I saw them yesterday. it was like 150-160. I thought this was NCCU's regular size.

We have been over 200 for the last few years.  The word on sending the band to Pasasena is that we need to raise enough fund to send 250+ to California.

Well, as we all know, lot's of times, not all of the Band members are at the same place for practice or available, all of the time, at the same time. Plus, there are a lot of kids who have different class and work schedules during different times of the week, including some practice times.

So that 150-160 number is not correct.

Take Care!

I was hoping that was the case.  However, those guys sounded great.  I will see them Saturday in Charlotte.

Will you answer the question?   How many are in band this year?

NCCU performed very well tonight.  I am so proud of my Eagles.  We seem to have more members than last year.
