An astute student of history and humanity will know that you can't stop certain things. You can try but all you will end up doing is delaying things and possibly cause a lot of bloodshed in the process. Hundreds of years ago many scholars knew that the United States could not suppress people of color forever. Some white folks are now groaning because they now see an end of their world supremacy in sight. Europe and the US are changing fast. Same with the acceptance of gay people, like it or not, change is in the wind, and there is nothing anyone can do about it. I'm sorry but I don't go through life fighting losing battles. Why should I even try to suppress a gay person? If I move one out of the way, two more are going to pop up and replace them.  I can only control things inside my house.
