Syracuse should never get a Number 1 seed as long as Boeheim is their coach.

I gave my reason.  Did you not read the whole thread?

Wow, 3 posts, & the answer's ambiguous.

School of Champions, Reggie Powell?

Let me help a little bit.  Y refers to 71st High School in Fayetteville as the School of Champions.  Reggie Powell was a former player from 71st who played at Syracuse.  He didn't have a great collegiate career and transferred to Pratt Institute.

Wile, Reggie did very well his freshman year at Syracuse.  He was the sixth man and had very good stats.  Boeheim becomes the coach and only plays New York players.  He would not release Reggie to play for another D-1 school.  Reggie went to Pratt because it was D2 and his brother was playing for the Jets.

It's the NCAA Tournament so every team should worry about each opponent.

BIG difference between taking a team lightly and worrying about them. Roll Eyes

In one case you are concerned that they might beat you and in the other you are making sure your team executes and plays up to its potential.

The stats I posted suggest higher seeds don't take the lower ones lightly, but neither do they worry nor should they based on the record. read
