I do not believe that the MEAC admitted SSU, because one of the MEAC schools is going back to the CIAA.  Is it possible that one of the current MEAC schools was considering joining another D1-AA conference, because of travel cost?

Let me apologize for my earlier post in reference to the MEAC and SSU.  MilesBear is correct I am a little disappointed with the state of things on campus right now.  A lot of which I can show proof and support of on this site, but that would not be in the best interest of the University.  I apologize for comments that were perceived as harsh. 

I have always been a supporter of the MEAC conference and think that the conference is home to some very academically talented institutions.  I am humbled by the MEAC's acceptance, but I am baffled that we have been accepted considering some issues I know of, but will not air here.   

But to the new ssu poster, I will say that if you read any of my posts it should be clear to you that I am an SSU alum and supporter.  Yes I just got back in from Charlotte, and the group I am apart  of and presented with was the only to make a donation during our presentation.  Were you in Charlotte?  If so, who are you? Please feel free to contact me on PM.
