Nov 13 NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL
Nov 13 NORFOLK STATE (Homecoming)

Best case scenario (4-7)

Sept 10 Fort Valley State - not likely, but possible
Sept 18 at Bethune-Cookman - not likely, butmaybe with a new coach and new schemes they get  caught slippin like they did with Shaw last year
Oct 09 at Georgia State - again, not likely, but its a new program. maybe they get beat.
Oct 23 at Alabama State - maybe, if spears offense dont click, they lose...not likely

Worst case scenario (0-11)

Most likely scenario (1-10) - don't know who it would be, but they will luck up and beat someone...

I feel bad for the kids in this program.   tiptoe

It is rather interesting that both Albany ST and FVS are on the marsh cats' schedule.

in my opinion thats the 2 most important games on the schedule.  Since they have limited their recruiting to instate kids, they have to at least be competitive in those games to stay (or become) relavant to hs recruits.  if they are blown out by those teams, that really should make them ask themselves if they should stay 1-AA or not.

But what do I know. tiptoe

Dang, 7 road games for the Orange Cats, 5 of which are back-2-back - yikes!!!

Glad to see SSU and FVSU on their schedule - these 3 teams should be playing every year regardless of division...just my 3 cents.

I'd love to check out the SSU-Ga State game but that looks like the same Saturday as the Skegee-House Classic in Columbus.
nod So you already know where this Tiger will be. any how.....

Good luck this year, SSU!!!!   Wink

Good luck to newly appointed head coach Alan Hall in his debut vs. Ga Southern!
That thang look crucial all the way up until they meet the new team and then it turns south again!  Crucial. I'm going on record as giving'em 1-10 AT BEST.  So it should look like 0-5 then 1-5 then finishing strong at 1-10. There you go SSU alum saving face at the expense of your boys!  Looks like Tiger will be doing less of the smashing and more of the gettin smashed in this one, LOL  lmao

I think that will continue.  As more MEAC schools try to schedule 1-A and higher ranked 1-AA games, I think you wil notice SSU picking up more SWAC and D-2 teams.

Another downside to competing outside of a conference; searching for teams to put on your schedule, many of which will not be home-home or return games.
Once SSU is in a conference, I really pray for them that it is soon, scheduling will not be so much of an issue.

UPDATE: SSU admitted to MEAC

Cool Schedule I would love to see Miles back on y'all schedule. But I like how y'all brought back FVSU and Albany St. to your schedule. It's always good to get games with your instate rival schools. Are those games with FVSU and ASU Classic games?

The football stadium will be under renovation during the 2010 season; all home games will be played at Memorial Stadium.  That is the reason we will be on the road for seven weeks.
