^^^^^^^

It has always been said that the CIAA is old school.  A vast majority of CIAA goers are those graduates from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and early 1980s.  Does the MEAC try to appeal to it's alumni to come to the tournament?  From what I have heard as far as marketing the MEAC, it is mostly trying to appeal to a younger generation.  The schools in the MEAC need to push the tournament to it's alumni as well as it's current students.

Media coverage in the Piedmont Triad area of the MEAC is horrible.   The only TV highlights and scores from the tournament have been about A&T.  No other scores have been reported on TV.  And with the ACC kicking off on Thursday the MEAC will be totally forgetten.   You never want to compete with  the ACC tournament.  Maybe the MEAC should move it's tournament to week between the CIAA and ACC tournaments.

I agree with Slope that the tournament should be between CIAA and ACC.
Are the games webcasted on ESPN360?  I didn't see them on the schedule but will check when I get home.

Playing the week after CIAA or just the week before the BCS conferences should get MEAC more TV exposure.

Believe the championship game is scheduled for espn2. not sure about any others.

Don't forget secret GOP strategy meetings sponsored by Koch bros: attendees included Congressmen, Governors, CEOs, National Chamber of Congress, and two Supreme Court Judges; all united to put GOP back in power. Could SC Judges be bought? smh

 no

The SIAC Tournament did a better job of marketing this year. In Atlanta (where it was held) we had the big named DJ's and a concert to top it off. Also, the advertisement for the game was all over the radio  nod The MEAC's marketing can get better if they get more creative or have a "want to" attitude to marketing.
